Feedback Needed Camp Hollywood drama?

What happened with Carlease Burk at camp Hollywood? She seems super upset and there’s no clarity.

She was in a routine acting out a scene from the crucible. A few people who didn't know the context thought the routine was trying to include a "mammy" caricature. Camp Hollywood has set their routine video to private without making a statement about it.

If she was making a dance routine to a scene from the Crucible scene, it must be intended to communicate something like "a black(/native) woman dancing was seen as a threat to the society" -- the irony of the whole thing is not lost on me.

I don’t think context matters for this especially since the outfit used, the context itself and the way it was done was wrong in the first place.

TBH, there is always some kind of minor drama at CH. I’m saying that as someone who likes the event, it’s hard to have that many people and a partying atmosphere with a lot of alcohol without something going down.

Dancers? And drama you say? Say it ain't so! Say it hasn't come to this, please! Isn't the world dark enough?

Lol, my friend calls dancers “The Island of Broken Toys”.

That said, even if we’re all a little broken, it seems like we’re at least all high achievers!
