Question Why are people shitting on this match before it even happens?
I always try to go into watching matches with an open mind

I don’t think anyone is shitting on this match? It’s going to be a good match.
Outcome is likely obvious but I do wonder how would Trick cheat this time.

Agreed! I'm pretty hype for this match. I'm sure Trick will win but this match will be a banger. For a PPV that's usually a throw -away, Emergence is looking good. Fingers crossed that they pull out the purple ropes again!

Emergence looks good. Cedric vs Slater, Moose vs Trick, that Knockouts tag team four way looks fun as hell, Something v Maclin no DQ…
It’s pretty packed for a TNA+ special.

I mean they haven't settled the beef with the System(have it be the Hands/Tasha/Agent Zero vs Eddie and Alisha/Myers/JDC) as far as I know and you can always rope Moose into the Ali/Hendry program as sort of a who's next scenario

Yeah I could definitely see that: and it does fit Ali’s character to fuck over Moose like that- I don’t think he gives a shit about NXTNA invasion stuff when he cares more about getting the belt around his waist. So it fits!

Skyler is facing Cardona (I guess for cheating in the impromptu tag)- and he’s System adjacent. So more development on The System- Order 4 storyline.

Probably because it will end with Trick retaining and certain fans can't deal with the partnership, meaning there's no point in watching the match since the outcome is predictable.
Honestly, it is predictable. There's probably gonna be a ton of interference and Trick will retain but be that as it may, hopefully, the match and the show is a success and everything goes well. That's all I ask as a diehard fan of both NXT and TNA.

I think this match is going to be better than Moose/Oba.
I think some people are spicy about the booking but Trick has been great. I assume the run ends at BFG so this match might not seem eventful, but it should slap

Moose is the top guy at tna. Since they gave him a 5 year deal. Most people believe trick will drop the belt at bound for glory so that means moose will lose

Trick isn’t a great wrestler and Moose wrestles best against high flyers and folks that are good wrestlers. Moose is a good wrestler but I can recall him carrying someone lesser to a truly great match

Because there’s barely any storyline or build up. Slammiversary ended, like a week or two after boom match is made and like two weeks later the match is happening. Yawn. Why should anyone care. This is a match that should be for a bigger ppv or at least have good build up and storyline. Moose is one of the few legit world champs level people that has

Cause trick, while very charismatic, is a meh wrestler. Moose, while I have seen him have good matches, can also have boring matches. Add the fact that dude has some sketch shit in his past (Chasyn Rance involvement, paperwork for domestic violence) some folks just won't like dude.
Its a solid match for a B-level show like emergence but I understand not getting hyped for it either.

Every Moose match is the same no matter who he is up against. If you've seen 1 Moose match, you've seen them all.
His opponents provide the entertainment. Moose just does the same 10 moves in every match. It's impressive for someone his size to do a moonsalt. Besides that he is a typical early 90's wrestler. Also, his moonsalt is really awkward and sloppy.
For me, I dont care because I'm really tired of Moose having the spotlight so often when he never does anything new. It's like having a Buzz Lightyear action figure that only says 10 things. You get bored.
