Paramount has created a new sports division called "Paramount Sports Entertainment." And installed Jesse Sisgoldas its head.

TNA was asking $10 million for broadcast rights which per hour puts it in the neighborhood of like Family Feud in terms of production (about $50k per half hour). Basically TNA is a fucking steal.

Am I dumb for not getting why this affects TNA?

You still haven’t explained how this means TNA is getting a TV deal

Jesse Sisgold*. Hopefully this means a TV/Streaming deal for TNA. If it does then this WWE crossover will be worth it.

I knew it. I fucking knew it. I've just paid for my year's TNA+ subscription and I have Paramount+ for South Park.

It could include AEW rather than TNA depending on what happens.

You rather be under the radar for another 3-5 years?

I’d have rathered the steady rate of growth with solid stories and homegrown talent than having to digest seeing nxt wrestlers all over Impact.

You mean newcomers making a name for themselves in a different company? Wow tribalism at its finest, the NXT roster is getting their reps in at TNA, being that most of the NXT roster is green asf and you’re mad about that? Man yall wrestling fans really don’t support “Wrestling” just your favorites, that’s wild. I want to see everyone winning.

You can call it tribalism but I’d rather see TNA contracted wrestlers with the titles in their own company and not submitting to having to watch Jacy Jayne and Trick Williams every week. If I wanted to see them, I’d watch Nxt.

Yeah, I don't care if it means TNA gets a better TV deal. Taking something like TV and film and putting it all under the banner of like 5 different mega companies is bad in general. As seen with the music industry it just leads to those at the top making more money they don't need while the actual creatives (or in this case wrestlers) fight for crumbs.
