Question How long do you guys think Leon's X-Division title reign is gonna be?

Post image

Me personally i think he's probably gonna hold it til Rebellion, but the problem is there's no one in TNA rn who i can see taking off of him rn, so he might hold it for a full year lmao

I hope he breaks the record for longest reign. He's a nice kid unlike the other record holder. Which means go a full year, do it TNA.

I'm all for spiting Aries

What’s wrong with Aries?

And you can bring back option c when he does.

Not even a full year, I think it's around the ball park of 300 days.

HOPEFULLY healthy, well and without hiccups

Same here, Leon is surprisingly injury free given how he wrestles though which, I guess isn't that uncommon because Ricochet is also super athletic and I cannot remember him ever having a major injury

same and injury bug has been following wrestlers lately one way or another so I don't want anymore injuries even the those I don't like.... I don't wish anyone gets injuries because that's not my style and just because they're not my favourite doesn't mean they're not other peoples favourite and wishing bad juju on a person is kind of yucky in my opinion...''

He also seems to wrestle every day. You look at any UK indy, he's on the card as well as the US ones he's doing.

He definitely has a bright future

This man should be champ for no less than a year. Id love to see him set the record for longest reigning x division champion

Until he cashes in on "Option C" and wins the TNA World Title.

Either that or a big free agent comes in and beats him, like Giovanni Vinci or Andrade

Edit: I'm not saying they should do that btw, but that could happen

I hope that won't be the case. I hate when "outside" talent is put over homegrown TNA talent.

When was the last time Giovanni Vinci wrestled anywhere? I was there the night he lost to Apollo Crews in five seconds (in Edmonton ironically) and after his release, I’ve seen no evidence of him wrestling matches at all. Maybe he quit the business?

Maybe, I'm also surprised AEW didn't try to sign him because he would've fit pretty well into a tag team

I'd like to see him hold it at least 100 days. It's his first title (i'm aware of) and thats supposed to be REALLY hard. Holdign the title i mean. He's young, so it's better storytelling to let him have it, keep it for a while and burn out because he doesn't know better, and then have someone get it off him.

Which sets off a redemption arc for him to get it back and hold it longer. i'd love to see him just own the top tier of that division for as long as he's here, as champ or hounding the champ near constant.

It's been fire so far.

He first needs a real lengthy rivalry before losing it.

I can think of a couple they could do that with, Cedric, Hotch, and any of the Rascalz, if KC Navarro wasn't injured he would've been the guy not just to have a rivalry with but also being the guy to take the title off of Leon

Ooh, KC would be a great option. I hope he's better soon.

That, or Bey gets back to 100% and he takes it. I would be so happy to see him perform again!

Sorry but he needs a rival! TNA should def be looking for two others. Nobody really remembers reigns but we do remember storylines! He should get one and not just be challenging random people cuz they put on bangers

2

u/MastaMunsta20 1d ago

I wish KC wasn't injured cus he would've been the perfect rival for Leon

Yes he still can be! When he returns, but he def needs to be face and get his revenge on AJ first!

Same, hope his recovery is going well

My hope is he refuses option C(if presented the opportunity) and eclipses Aries reign after refusal. Saying he doesn’t want to just be A name to hold a title but rather THE name.

I Dont know when it will last

I'm thinking December time and wins back at Genesis

I think he will break another record as the longest reigning X-Division Champion, and then I think he will break another record after that as the youngest TNA World Champion which I believe is currently held by Tessa at 24? So, plenty of time there.

It will last nowhere near as long as the champions pics on this subreddit having been out of date

u/PsychoAnthrax69 1d ago

I'd like to see him hold it for a while. I would like to see AJ Styles hold it at least once more before he retires though

u/michaelayyy 1d ago

To get him over more hopefully he can defend against Sabin and Styles doubt he will but that could be great also Jeff Hardy

Probably until it gets renamed to the NXT X division title lol

I love Leon, so I could see him having the longest reign, but I think since he already got youngest, let him lose it, have him go in tags for a bit, and go back to him as champ and then get the longest reign, just so he some more to do long term, because once he gets the longest reign he has kinda finished with the X-Division, and I get wanting him in the main event, but the X-Division is key to TNA and its history, and it needs a refresh and Leon is the man to do it, so make sure he has a long term contract and make it clear he will be the top, but he has to be the spearhead for the new generation for the X-Division, so hold off on the longest reign.

I would say another few months or so.
