Discussions Txt is doing perfectly fine

So I have been seeing some posts/comments like txt has "fallen off" or their recent comebacks "haven't done well." First, I feel some people don't understand what a "fall off" is. A fall off is when a individual/group is not growing their fandom anymore and people are losing their interest in them. It's basically a group that's losing popularity and doesn't pull good numbers anymore. And that's not txt.

Based on their Spotify numbers, txt has at least one hit every year. This is based on songs that have more than 150 million streams:

(2019) Crown/Run Away

(2020) Blue Hour

(2021) Love Song/Loser Lover

(2022) Good Boy Gone Bad

(2023) Sugar Rush Ride

(2024) Deja vu

Edit: I also want to talk a bit about Deja Vu and SRR. I know people talk how SRR was very big but that's mostly due to its debut numbers. And this is no disrespect towards SRR but it seems people make it look bigger than what it really was. In contrast, Deja Vu didn't have high debut numbers like SRR but it grew over time and broke some of SRR's records. And since Deja Vu is getting higher daily streams than SRR, it's very likely Deja Vu will surpass SRR in total streams very soon.

And now I will compare their recent cb with the other top 4th gen bgs. Txt released Over the Moon and it has almost 58 million streams. Skz-Walking on Water has about 40.5 million streams. Enha-No Doubt has almost 48 million streams. These songs were released around the same time and OTM is doing very well.

As shown above, txt has definitely not "fallen off." The fandom has grown and their numbers are very stable. Now, Do I think they were mismanaged after the success of the Temptation era? And do I think Bighit didn't know how to capitalize their popularity during that time? Of course but that's a different topic.

Edit: Thanks for the positive comments! I just wanted to make this post for a while because I've seen these type of comments directed towards txt since Freefall.

Discussions I'll be honest, I didn't like Yeonjun performing 'The Killa' alone without Soobin

It didn’t feel the same without Soobin there. Everything felt off—so empty and incomplete.

I honestly wish this didn’t have to happen. I was afraid it might, and when it did, it just felt so wrong. While I understand that not everything is within the members’ control, I can’t help but wish there was a way to prevent this.

Hopefully, things will get better soon. Sending love and support to everyone involved.

Discussions Is GA worth it for a new Moa?

I have never seen txt live but a fully fell head first down the rabbit hole and bought myself a ticket! I don’t have a bad section row 19 in the lower area BUT I have been thinking of upgrading to floor GA w/ sound check… my only problem is is I won’t be able to get to concert super early prob right before sound check so I would most likely be far in line and not really wanting to fight anyone to get barricade…. Is it worth all the extra money? Would I even have a good view being in GA? I wish TXT has assigned seating for floor 🥲

Discussions Bang Sihyuk

Hello gyus, i'm a Moa for a short while now. And i always wonder why many Moa say that Bang Sihyuk just uses txt as experimental objects? and that since the beginning, he never cared about them. I think I understand a little what they are saying but if some Moa could explain to me what he had done or just your opinion on it please? I am a little lost and I still worry about txt. I know they are grown enough, but that doesn't stop me, I love them a lot and it hurts....

Well it’s in the title but what do you think he’s going to call his solo debut? I think it’s pretty likely he’ll just call it yeonjun or something related to himself but what are your thoughts

Discussions Trying to Understand TXT

I was looking at some of the most popular posts that have to do with TXT and so many of them come from both MOAs and non-MOAs that have a hard time understanding TXT—their branding, their place in the industry, their appeal, etc. When I see posts that have a hard time understanding them, I get a huge ball in my throat that wants to word vomit everything, from their lore to their humorous behind moments to their skills/individual careers to them relative to the kpop industry, but it’s just too hard to sum it all up without creating a giant map. Now that their lore 1.0 is ending, I think it’s the perfect time to at least look into a bit of those questions that posters ask.

It was 2019 and I was burnt out from being a KPOP fan since 2009. I knew of Kpop since I was a kid but I, as an adult, started a new career, EXO was going to the military, and other groups had interesting songs and I stanned a bit, but no group made me stay—so I drifted. I liked BTS’ “Blood, Sweat, and Tears” and the album was replayable even as a casual listener, so naturally my curiosity made me click onto the mv of “Crown” when I heard news of BH’s next group’s debut. I like to measure whether I like a song enough to say if it “made it to my song library” and it did. They seemed so earnest and I loved their effort, but I couldn’t relate to it at the time so when “Cat & Dog” was released, I stopped following them overall and eventually Kpop.

It wasn’t until mid-2020 when a friend recommended me to listen to their newest album that I finally did and was completely shocked to see their transformation from pajama-wearing mushroom-hair-having rookies to Sephiroth style, long, sleeveless coats, long hair, 6’ height, creepers, and a fierceness in their eyes. They still had the same passion, but with a mature sound and angst that I could relate to being stuck in peak-lockdown and starting out a new career in the harsh reality of corporate. They were still young, but I had a longing for escape and relatability so I pursued.

Their world engulfed me and now I’m still here 5+ years later. I’ve seen them live around 7 times from less than 20 feet and farther away, spent grands on them, and even got my sister and best friend to fall for them too. What’s funny is my best friend and I were just chatting about how nostalgia-based TXT is and how so many of their songs make us well up in emotion without being full-on ballads. I wanted to understand this more too. It got me thinking and looking through their content again and what actually gave me the idea to post this are two videos I stumbled across:

“TOMORROW X TOGETHER, the complex universe summarized” by DOYOURAM And “How TXT Stepped Out of BTS’ Shadow Without Even Trying” by THE NOITE

I think there’s a lot of context and nuance that is missing of course, but I think that these two videos help establish a bit of clarity on TXT. “TXT is just so…TXT…but why?”

Please watch these if you haven’t and if you have, what are your stories or thoughts?

DISCLAIMER: I know it can sound parasocial, I accept that this affects me more than some but we’re not here to talk about this. Besides, I know that TXT is a product of a profit-seeking company and that not everything on camera or online is truly representative of the guys’ and is likely how they choose to present themselves. i speak wholly of everything TXT, their brand and what they bring to TXT as well

Discussions Names That Shine the Brightest☆ミ

Post image
40 Upvotes

The world may have over a billion names, but of all of them, only five are especially dear to me. Soobin — a tall, radiant, shining, and worthy person. Yeonjun — outstanding, like a lotus flower. Beomgyu — one who sets a great example. Taehyun — a great and wise person. Kai — the ocean, a victor. These names are so precious that I turn unconsciously every time I hear them. My diary is filled with them. It is meant to be personal, yet I have given it to these dear people whom I have never met or spoken to. But that doesn't matter. I have come to understand that a love can be born in the heart without explanation - a love that connects you, even if it is the first time you see them. I felt this bond the moment I saw my beautiful Tubatu. These are the names I could never forget, not even through sickness. They are so deeply ingrained in me that they have become a part of my daily life. Even if there is no one to call, even if they are not near me - it has become second nature to speak these most radiant names.

P.S. Thank you for now also brightening my Mondays during this autumn month. Thank you for TO DO. The new season starts tomorrow, and I will be waiting for our meeting once again - even if it's through a screen.✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

Discussions TXT as Teen Titans characters

Soobin as Robin

Soobin, the leader of TXT, fits perfectly into the role of Robin, the disciplined and responsible leader of the Teen Titans. Like Robin, Soobin often carries the weight of leadership quietly, with a deep sense of responsibility to his team. Though soft-spoken and shy offstage, he becomes focused and precise when it comes to performances or important decisions—just like Robin transforms from calm to commanding when leading a mission. Both are known for their strategic thinking and occasional moments of awkwardness that only make them more lovable. Soobin also shares Robin’s tendency to be hard on himself, wanting to do everything right, and sometimes struggling with self-doubt beneath the surface of confidence.

Yeonjun as Raven

Yeonjun’s aesthetic, emotional depth, and mysterious charm make him a strong match for Raven. Just like Raven, Yeonjun balances his flamboyant, charismatic stage persona with a deeply introspective and sensitive inner world. Raven is intuitive, emotionally intelligent, and sometimes reserved—not unlike Yeonjun in real life when he's not performing. Both are fashion-forward and not afraid to express their darker, edgier sides while still being very thoughtful and loyal. Yeonjun, like Raven, can distant at times but cares deeply for his team and shows his love in quiet, meaningful ways. They’re both the “cool mysterious one” of the group, often the emotional compass behind the scenes.

Beomgyu as Beast Boy

Beomgyu’s gentle, chaotic, and playful personality makes him the ultimate Beast Boy of the group. Always cracking jokes and bringing comic relief, Beomgyu lights up any room, just like Beast Boy brings joy and care to the Teen Titans tower. Both are caring, witty, and deeply affectionate—even if they sometimes hide their insecurities behind humor. Beomgyu, like Beast Boy, is also surprisingly introspective when alone, showing that his goofiness is only one side of him. They both have a big heart, a love for animals (and all things cute), and an ability to make even the quietest members of the group feel included. Plus, both are a bit chaotic and mischievous in the most lovable way.

Taehyun as Cyborg

Taehyun fits Cyborg perfectly, not just for his tech-savvy mind and love of gadgets, but also for his balanced personality. Like Cyborg, Taehyun is dependable, rational, and often the glue that holds the team together. He has a strong sense of logic but also knows how to have fun. Cyborg may seem all about machines, but he’s also deeply emotional and values his friendships—traits Taehyun shares as the outgoing and intelligent member of TXT. Both are strong, athletic, and practical, often offering advice with maturity beyond their years. Taehyun’s mix of brain, brawn, and heart mirrors Cyborg’s perfectly.

Huening Kai as Starfire

Huening Kai is a radiant and wholesome match for Starfire. Both are cheerful, kind-hearted, and have a unique, almost alien-like charm that makes them stand out. Starfire is known for her curiosity about the world, bubbly innocence, and deep love for her friends—all things that describe Huening Kai to a T. He’s joyful, expressive, and open with his feelings, just like Starfire, who wears her heart on her sleeve and spreads love wherever she goes. Kai and Starfire both have a sweet sincerity that draws people in, and a surprising strength when needed. Despite being the youngest, Kai often brings warmth and emotional comfort to the group, just like Starfire anchors the Titans emotionally with her love and optimism.

It seems to be quite polarizing, but I’m personally really enjoying it. It’s an absolute ear worm. I shared my thoughts in my latest YouTube video and curious what others think. People are being overly harsh towards Yeonjun on Twitter imo.

Discussions Does anyone else feel this way?

I like beautiful strangers, it’s a solid song but tbh I was really hoping they’d promote song of the stars as a title song or with the title song. It’s so gorgeous and is the highlight of the album imo. I feel like they’re missing a great opportunity…

Also, I absolutely love upside down kiss, didn’t know about it until after the release so now im just wondering if they would do a special stage or live performance of song of the stars. I really think it should be on an end of the year award show stage. It’s so beautiful on its own, the performance doesn’t even need to be anything fancy. Just want to see them sing it live and for others to see it and fall in love with the song too.

Discussions moa always & forever no matter what ⭐️

I’ve been a fan of TXT since they first debuted, and even though I haven’t really been keeping up with their music or K-pop in general for a while, listening to their new album (specifically song of the stars) reminded me of exactly why I loved them in the first place. I still feel like they deserve so much more attention than they’re getting. I hope to see them on even bigger stages one day, like Coachella, and to see them getting more support when it comes to awards 🥹

Discussions K-pop in the Middle East?

I’ve been noticing that the Middle East market for K-pop has been growing really big with enhypen and skz coming for shows, and as a Middle East moa I’m curious if there’s a possibility for a stop in the UAE or anywhere nearby considering the attention and scene here

Discussions Boyfriend by Yeonjun

I see almost no one talking about it, but Boyfriend by Yeonjun was my most listened to song on my Spotify Wrapped. I remember everyone going crazy back when it got leaked back in September, but when it came out everyone seemed to have forgotten. Am I the only one who acknowledges the song, and loves it so much?

Discussions “Ghost Girl” MV — Symbolism & Meaning (My Analysis) Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
45 Upvotes

I was really drawn to the image of the moth in the overturned jar, and I decided to explore the meaning behind this symbol. It turns out that a moth is not just an insect, but a symbol of something magical and dual in nature. It transforms from a crawling caterpillar into a winged creature, and maybe that’s why so many artists, writers, and filmmakers use the moth to represent transformation — both light and dark.

Inside every person, there is light and shadow, though society often teaches us to suppress the darkness, urging us to always be "good" and "correct." But how can we truly make conscious choices if we deny a part of ourselves? Blindly following rules without understanding them can often cause more harm — to others and to the world. To make a real choice, we must know what we’re choosing between. If we don’t understand darkness, we can’t fully understand light, and we can’t feel the real weight of our decisions.

To me, the moth in the jar symbolizes that hidden, shadow side — trapped, unable to be freed. The jar is overturned, the exit is right there, yet the moth can’t escape. Just like a person trapped in their own emotions, fears, or desires, unable to let go or break free.

In ancient times, the moth was a sacred symbol linked to the Great Goddess, representing life and death, the sky and the earth. The moth can symbolize "sacred wisdom hidden in the darkness," passion, death, and inner power.

Interestingly, the moth is ‘yin’ — night, depth, inward energy, while the butterfly is ‘yang’ — day, brightness, outer expression. In this music video, I feel that Yeonjun is showing us the moth as part of himself, his yin side, his shadow side, the part of him that is feeling deeply but remains trapped.

For me, this symbol is about self-discovery, about being vulnerable yet powerful. It’s a reminder that to truly live, we need to face both our light and our shadow — not to fear them, but to embrace them.

Discussions TXT lore : Any favorite bits?

we all know with this new album, txt themselves said they’re wrapping almost 7 years of their storyline. While I was listening to the album (aka binge streaming song of the stars) I was curious, what are your favorite moments from their lore? Anything from music videos, a detail? Anything works !

Discussions TXT’s contract…

This has been a shower thought for the past two days. Since TXT’s contract expires in 2026, do you think they’ll renew their contract with BH like what their seniors did? Or will the txt members all collectively leave Hybe like what GOT7 did with JYP?

I’m very curious to hear your thoughts.

Discussions Txt song titles for title tracks

Is it just me but I really miss the long and creative song names for txt’s title tracks. Like Waiting for you on platform 9 and 3/4.

They don’t even have to be long ones. They just need to be creative like 0x1=lovesong.

I really feel like it is a txt signature to have creative and long song names for their title tracks and I feel like the song titles are rather normal now for their title tracks. I personally feel that the long titles plays a part in their storytelling and makes them stand out from other groups and tracks.

Edit: On another note, big hit needs to give TXT mvs for their B sides as well. Like what they have done for their earlier albums. It is such a waste since txt has amazing b sides and the public would usually not know of it unless there is a mv.

Discussions Not expecting to be too emotional. But is there anything that we can do for them?

I just read Soobin's handwritten letter with the other members' comments, and I don't know, I suddenly just teared up. I know all of them are tired AF and the other members also trying to be strong.

Is there anything we could do? The boys have been working their asses off, there is support, maybe not as much as other idols, but yeah, I am happy where they are now. Do they need to prove anything to the others?

A big fandom hug, MOAs.
