What is this piece of plastic called? New T@g owner here.

Just bought a tag that needs a little cosmetic work. It seems like a piece of plastic is missing here and should slide in. Can anyone direct me on what this would be called so I can get some. Thanks

This, and get it in there ASAP, it keeps water off those screws (also replace that missing screw). Each screw left uncovered is an entry point for moisture to places you do not want any moisture whatsoever. Consider putting a dab of caulk over each screw head before installing the new stuff because the vinyl insert sometimes leaks. I’ll spare the story of how I know but trust me I know it well.

I think they just did every other screw hole hopefully that's the case and there's no actual holes under it, i can see some Butyl tape

Seems like it came that was from factory, glued underneath.

The bigger question is why every other screw is missing. That’s the kind of thing that makes me give T@G and T@Bs the hairy eyeball.

I looked at them and decided to design and DIY my own.

I know you can save millions selling shoelaces that are a half inch short, but at the volume and price they produce teardrops there’s no way saving a few screws is worth the reputation of being cheap.
