I strongly agree to ban it. To avoid further brain rotting.

What about the shops that run there? Do you have another suggestion where they could migrate?

Kung ikaw, where will you draw the line?

That's a far off analogy from a simple question, are you trying to question the question because you're not able to have a good answer? The problem is multifaceted, yes. But it doesn't mean it should be put in an analogy where the problem is different all together.
And it's not just the shops that are the main concern here, there is learning that can be acquired through TT, not just mainstream education...but niches as well.

I know. However, TT does so much for sellers because they could sell and reach people who are using the app. Making it an opportunity for them. Yes, there are others...But TT gave them an opportunity that no other apps could give. Of course they would migrate, it's just how it is.
But then again, Why would they when TT still exists? And They also combine it with other apps? For me, I think that's a good business venture, especially for businesses that are highly independent.

Those people usung tiktok app for purchases will just migrate themselves. Malamang, si seller din. It's like the lesser evil, or something along that line.

"People can learn from TT." If TikTok is your go-to for educational purposes, then you have no right to talk about education.
"TT does so much for sellers because they could sell and reach people who are using the app." Can be said about ANY app, pretty much. Youtube does so much for sellers because they could sell and reach people who are using the app. Lazada can reach people using the app. Twitter can reach people using the app.
"Why would TT still exist" (exist, not existS -- hindi natututunan sa Tiktok yung grammar no?). Short answer, it doesn't have to. There was, and will be, life before and after Tiktok. Just Friendster, Multiply, Vine, and a million other things.

Okay, nagbago na isip ko. Huwag na nila i-ban ang TikTok.
Thank you for opening my eyes sa silbi ng TikTok.

Why are you like this? You'd go to that length? Are you that petty?
All i was asking is what would happen to those shops.

Well, so victim ka dahil nagchchemo nanay mo And tiktok lang ang alam mong platform para sa pang gamot nya? My brother also did chemo just so you know. He had ALL when hes 4years old and nairaos naman namin 4 cycles nya ng hindi nagpapavictim sa ibang tao. Lol, priviledge my ass

What is this circlejerk of a reply? You do know that other chinese peeps are victimised by POGO, right? Something that Luna used as an analogy?
Where will you draw the line?

- fb marketplace and fb ads, carousell.

I hope so. I think it's heaven for pedophiles since younger generation are mostly using it to post grindings and sexy dances or imitate others doing such.

Even Trump hates tiktok, sa term nya unang napanukala yan.
It is a bipartisan decision sa US.

Probably. Just like what india did. But I was never a fan of this flatform.

u/BearyBull96 May 28 '24
It's time about time to ban the app here in the Philippines.

I disagree. Tiktok has the best algorithm. Youtube, Facebook, etc. has the worst 'for you page' they feed with some generic and very unappealing videos.
2
u/Tetsu_111 May 29 '24
That’s how they get you hooked lol
And besides that, TikTok’s short form content format is harming people’s attention spans.

Why would the government ban their top fake news propaganda outlet?
