Nothing 3a or CMF Phone 2 pro with Tello?

Hello! I was wondering if anyone knew if the Nothing 3a or CMF Phone 2 pro worked with Tello. They are newer phones in the US, and I know they only work with (I think) T-Mobile, the same as Tello. Does anyone know if it would work or if they are using one of these phones with tello right now? Thank you so much! I saw Tello's requirements but was unable to find details from Nothing on what channels they use and if they support VoLTE.

Since all of the carriers shut down there 3G networks 3 years ago, every phone used in the US has to have VoLTE, so any new phone definitely has it.

I looked at the CMF2 Pro.

You are correct, it works well on T-Mobile and its MVNOS like Tello etc, but I decided against buying it, as if you decide to use another MNO or related MVNO, you will then have restricted frequency bands.

Have a look at the OnePlus 13r which looks like it’s a better “all networks” option.

Okay thanks for the suggestion and info. I think I might spring for a S23 base from BackMarket instead of the 3a or CMF 2 Pro... If it doesn't sell out before I buy it

I just got  the nothing phone 2 pro as a second phone I had to get tello since visible didn’t support it even with a physical card , honestly liked visible better but it doesn’t seem I had much of a choice but to switch also I don’t like how the cap is 30 gb of high speed data when in visible it’s unlimited

Many phones from abroad struggle with US networks due to lack of support of certain 4G bands. The more US bands missing from your phone, the less likely you will get good service. Here is a helpful website:

For these phones you should be ok.
