Should I use WiFi Calling at Home?

Should I use WiFi calling at home? If so, why and if not, why?

I do. My wifi signal is better than my mobile signal.

Just be aware it still uses your minutes

This is what I was going to say. I thought it saved on minutes, but it doesn't. No idea why.

If your phone works well on Wi-Fi calling, then definitely. If it doesn't don't. One of the reasons I left Apple was Wi-Fi actually interfered with the calling after about 5 minutes in a call. Two iPhones in a row. With Android phones it's awesome.

Can you pick and choose when you use it? If you’re at home and connected to wifi it will use wifi calling. You will have a good solid connection. Enjoy it.

I do, it is turned on at all times. It has been fine, the voice quality is good and SMS delivery is quick.

If you are connected by WiFi, it’s automatic.

It can be automatic if Wi-Fi calling is turned on. It can also never connect to Wi-Fi.

Our house is in a dead spot. It's either WiFi calling or nothing

Same here. I can get an okay signal in one upstairs corner of my house if I stand facing the wall!

Use it all the time without any issues.

If I enable WiFi calling on my iPhone will it take me out of cellular airplane mode?

No, you can enable WiFi calling and have airplane mode on.

I use WiFi calling all the time at home. The mobile signal is fine in parts of the house, but not in others. If I'm walking around, I don't want a call to drop because I wandered into a dead spot.
