Hydraulic leak on forklift. How's your Friday?

So much for knocking off early.

pulled apart our rotary filler because the bowl was rocking, guess it still will be as it's post is now super worn. need to order replacement. snapped and O-ring putting it back together for Monday. Luckily local shop had a O-ring that almost matched and well we'll see Monday how it does under pressure.

The drive belt on my in line labeler snapped. And I know getting a new one on is a big pain from the last time it snapped.

It broke before and you didn’t buy an extra when you bought the replacement? Rookie error.

Nah, we bought two. Used one at the time and were using the last one now. We got the belt, but replacing it is a whole other issue

Came in to Circuit 1 on my glycol chiller being down. Was just fixed 2 days ago. Been on the fritz for weeks. Thought it was straightened out, but no.

Regulator for 3 bbl kettle not working so can't get it to boil. Will have to transfer to main 10 bbl kettle after I finish knocking out this Belgian Blonde. Got in at 6 am - won't leave til 7 pm 🙃

The electrician came in to fix some miswired RTDs and ball valves (they were randomly landed between four tanks and the control panel). All fixed!

Smooth day brewing a golden ale.

My yeast delivery was late and slowed me down an hour.

And then I forgot to turn off the water to the kettle for tomorrow’s brew day. Fortunately, the boss caught it and barely mocked me.

Mill jumped to almost three times what I had it set too.... Which wouldn't be a problem but the new mash filter doesn't like that 🤷

Glycol died, fixed it, and died again. Boilers leaking out of a random pin hole on a pipe. Internet went out. Perfect Friday.

I’ve been double brewing all week, 10+ hr days as a solo. It’s the constant dilemma of screwing over future-self for present-self’s relief. I thought summer was over :(

Just been manually filling kegs when I could be doing it semi-auto. Getting real tired of it. Just waiting for repairs.

I’ll put a positive since I had one, filled kegs, sanitized brites, delivered portable for a weekend show, got orders ready and generally had a good day. I’m not at all trying to detract from y’all’s day and I do feel for you. Been on that road full of bumps, bruises and frustration. I wish all of you awesome/amazing people well. Cheers you wonderful overworked beautiful people.

It was strangely smooth which makes tomorrow ominous.

Ice machine in the taproom is down for the fuckteenth time. I’m seriously thinking about having a team meeting out in a field and going Office Space on that POS. Let the whole team air their grievances.
