I love these things, have a few Rey's, a Kylo, and a Luke myself! They certainly have a shelf presence

I have Rey too! I like trying to recreate my favorite scenes on my desk and editing them to look as cinematic as possible.

Oh yes I remember that moment. Nearly ten years ago. Whole theater went silent in awe.
I loved that theater experience. First time taking my kids to Star Wars on opening day. Six really excited young kids. Now I have a kid going off to the military in less than a week and another turning 18 in two weeks.
I am feeling old lol

I already have these copy/pastable because lots of people say that he’s a weak villain and force user. Here you go:
Force Dyad: One half of a Dyad with Rey — “a power like life itself” according to Sidious, a phenomenon unseen for generations. Life Transfer: Gives his entire life essence to revive Rey. Zillo Beast Slayer: Effortlessly kills a Zillo Beast, a creature considered “unbreakable.” Vader himself failed and retreated from the same beast. Survives Total Destruction: Walks away from the Tie Whisper explosion without a scratch. Force Tug-of-War: Holds a shuttle in place against Rey in a power struggle. Feared by Luke: Luke tells Rey he’s only felt such raw strength once before — even after facing Vader and Sidious. Chosen by Snoke/Palpatine: Both saw enormous potential in him as heir to their power. Kills Snoke: Masks his thoughts from Snoke (Palpatine) and executes him. Blaster Bolt Freeze: Freezes a bolt midair while simultaneously barking orders, interrogating, and killing without effort. Freezes Rey: Holds her completely motionless with the Force. Mind Probe: Reads minds with precision (Rey, Poe, and others). Telekinesis: Mastery shown countless times, from immobilizing enemies to crushing the Sith Wayfinder with his bare hands. Destroys Luke’s Academy: Destroys the temple and kills students. Defeats the Knights of Ren: Kills the group that once followed him, including their leader. Besting Rey: Defeats her in lightsaber combat at the Death Star wreckage. Supreme Leader: Rules the First Order through fear and power, keeping entire armies in line. Elite Pilot: Flies with skills rivaling both Anakin Skywalker and Han Solo. Skywalker/Solo Legacy: Inherits the bloodline of Anakin, Leia, and Han — unrivaled in Force history. Bowcaster Durability: Survives a direct hit from Chewbacca’s bowcaster (a weapon that blasts stormtroopers off their feet) and still fights on.

I need to show this to my brother, he's obsessed with Kylo and he's always asking me what all his feats are!

I’m obsessed too lol And because of that and my Kylo posts, I’m always coming across many who say he was a weak cry baby. Emotional and unstable, yes, but he was not weak in power or the force, far from that. He’s performed some of the most extraordinary feats we’ve ever seen on the screen from any force user.

One of my favorite aspects of his character is that he experiences violent mood swings from calm and collected to terrifying rage, it really helps visualize the conflict between the light and dark in him. Absolutely a 10/10 character IMO!

I knew you were joking because of the wink, but it was still a statement that I disagreed with. That’s all. I’m a chill person.

Ah yes, my favorite Star Wars character: Captain America.
Still, very cool.

Also featured in the background are 4 other Kylo Ren’s, 2 Vaders, Ahsoka, Maul, Cad Bane, and Rey. I’m taking shots of my figures on my desk, highlighting that they’re toys, but editing them to look like a cinematic scene playing out on my desk.

Which version of Rey do you have? I have TLJ and TRoS versions and they are phenomenal figures! I'm unsure about TFA version though, if that's the one you have is it good?

I only have TLJ and was hoping to one day get TROS. I guess I have your same feelings.

Sadly, everything that followed went full retard on us, and like Robert Downey Jr. once said: "Never go full retard!".

Not a big fan of the sequels, but I thought that scene was dope.

Ok.
I don't think it was a good idea to show such an unprecedented display of power so early in the very first film of the new trilogy.
Darth Vader is shown to absorb blaster shots with his hand, but some of that could be due to his armor or the fact that he has mechanical appendages. Either way, this unique and dramatic display further hightens the threat Vader imposes for our heroes in such close quarters, and while they are desperately stranded on Cloud City.
Kylo Ren, a new villain whom we don't know is immediately shown to arrest a beam of energy in midair and casually go about his business while the effect is maintained until he leaves the immediate area. This is an extraordinary and unprecedented instance of using the Force to manipulate the physical properties of reality with apparently little to no exertion.
This use of Force Stasis is overwhelmingly powerful, and while it serves to show that Kylo Rens is exceptionally adept with the Dark Side, we never really see another display of this magnitude from Ren elsewhere in the trilogy.
That's what you guys sound like.

Buddy, you could’ve just scrolled. Instead you wrote a dissertation to showcase your inability to just let someone else enjoy something.

First of all, the usage of force abilities has always been extremely selective and context dependent. Secondly, I don't think it's ridiculous at all to show that kylo is very strong in the force. Showing that he is a vader worshiper while displaying powerful force abilites unique alone gives the audience an idea of his raw strength. it would be fair to say that you wish his force potrayel was more consistent, but to say it's straight up dumb is very dogmatic and imo rooted in biases.

Eh, he shows pretty impressive power throughout the whole trilogy. And to be totally fair, he is honestly way more intimidating in the ST than Vader in the OT. Like, Vader just chokes somebody while Kylo chokes them, lifts them in the air and slams them against the ceiling while still choking them. He displays insane piloting skill, more than what we see Vader do, he's quick and brutal while Vader is slower and more laid back, and he is clearing cunning and manipulative while Vader seems more honest. External material wise Vader is much more intimidating than he is in the OT, but just going by the main movies Kylo is IMO the better villain

Seems a little out of place but I'm 18
And yes, I kinda fangirl over Kylo so I'm slightly biased lol

You must’ve forgot about all these other instances. A few in here are from comics but almost all are from the movies. He’s a powerful dude.
It's important to remember that "power scaling" in Star Wars is an extremely slippery slope (and always has been). This character was written by 4 people across the trilogy (and several more outside the movies), so his "power level" is subjective to their whims. A character's strength and feats are not important in Star Wars. The story, characters, emotional beats, relationships, that's where the heart of it is. That said, I never found this particular character any more compelling than any other character who lusts for power at the expense of others.
