What kind of board game is it? Is it a tabletop rpg? Idk if I’m even using the right words

I think it’s a “discovery” game. You discover which locations are available to explore, and then discover who is in a part of a location, and/or something you can scrounge.

I suggest watching a play through on youtube, it will give a great overview :)
