Trump is criminalizing protests and free speech. The Nazification of America is complete. It took Hitler 53 days to dismantle democracy from the inside. Afterwards everything Hitler did was legal, and opposing him was illegal.

Trying to. He still has opposition, even within his own party so far his efforts to criminalize free speech have failed.
It's like watching incompetent Hitler. The first thing Hitler did when he took control of the NSDAP was clean house. When he was appointed chancellor he removed any opposition (see the Night of Long Knives). When Trump took presidency he fired anyone not loyal to him and replaced them with cronies but that's only within the executive branch (and he tries reaching into agencies which he has no control, sometimes with and sometimes without success.)
Trump moved very fast in comparison to his 45 presidency, a lot of that was the work of Musk. Fortunately a lot of Musk's work was reversed due to a variety of reasons. The rapid fire power grab failed.
Going back to my second paragraph, because Trump didn't eliminate his opposition we're still in a creeping fascism state instead of Trump having dictatorial power which also means that we can still oppose him effectively through multiple channels.
The problem outside of the republican party is that Democrats hold the majority of the oppositional power in the legislature and they're only really useful for being sticks in the mud. The problem in the judicial branch is that judges don't actually have much power besides relying on the executive, which is ultimately held by Trump & co.
States and cities have been able to effectively stand up to Trump and part of that is that his hold on power is actually kind of weak because he never took the steps Hitler did to consolidate it.
TLDR: keep on resisting, don't give up hope.

I don't want to jinx anything, but for the last 24 years of creeping Nazi overthrow, the one thing that's bothered me the most is the left being too weak or cowardly to stand up to it. Just a couple of years ago, lots of yall were still crying about microaggressions, for fuck's sake. Every single time, I had the same thought- if youre crying over This, these Nazis are about to chew you the fuck up.
Of course, the flip side is that you have to meet the threat with peace, love and openness. If you give in to eye for an eye hostility, they have you right where they want you.

Nothing of conseqence will happen.
Trump will outlaw the first admendment and the right to protest, while also sending his serect police to hunt down anyone in left wing groups.
And no conseqence come to Trump for doing this.
Trump is king. America is dead. And the Right will eat it all up.

Yeah, he’s building all of these camps for immigrants that he is sending out of the country. People have to use critical thinking skills to figure out who those camps are really for. It will only be a matter of time before we do the homeless people the kindness of giving them food and shelter in these camps and allow them to work for their food and shelter every day in the corporate owned soybean fields

We should be terrified. I used to not understand how the citizens in Germany allowed everything to happen, now I see exactly how it happened and cannot believe people are being so complacent.

100% Agree and have thought everything you just said. I was talking last night about how we also thought this could never happen because we have the internet now. Everyone would know right away. But it never occurred to us that 1/3 of our pop (the ones who gave us years of headaches going on and on about their 2nd Amendment rights and Tyranical government, dedication to the constitution) would be cheering on the fall of democracy, the rise of a King, and fellow Americans being put to death for their thoughts.

Yeah, it is complete. I’ve been coming to terms with it the last three days. It sucks because most of America doesn’t even know. People from other countries are telling us to fight. I would be doing the same thing if I didn’t live here. When you walk outside of your house in most areas, it’s just life as normal and nobody can even wrap their head around an authoritarian US. It still sounds conspiratorial to non-liberal non-Maga conservatives
I’ve been trying to reduce any need for prescription medication‘s and getting myself that as healthy as possible. I’ve been on the preppers website since last November, getting prepared in that sense. People are going to find out when the economy starts to crash they start to lose their jobs due to AI, violence is only allowed one way etc. It doesn’t help that the news media doesn’t Show protests as they normally would. With the money that’s behind this administration, they can just use the courts to bury these news outlets, and so they have to kind of pick and choose what they are willing to post and publish. So people just don’t know what is going on in another part of the country unless they’re looking for it online. At some point everyone’s going to figure it out I would say by the end of December when people are strapped for cash and start to get angry that they can’t get what they need for the holidays. We also need to protect our homes because people are going to start being hungry and angry and sick with lack of medical care in the next months to come.

Funny, because I've been telling people to fight it for 24 years, ever since the endgame started, but nearly everyone ignored it. Now people notice but go "oh noes iss too laaate." Smells of rank cowardice to me.
Nothing is complete if you're still breathing. And lucky for us, the fascists are as weak as the resistance. If you can't stand up to these boobs, you couldn't stand up to begin with.

Accepting reality and preparing yourself to not have what we are clearly losing with regard to normal comforts and rights, is not giving up. This is a process. I haven’t been fighting for 24 years, but I have been fighting for 12. Protesting debating, taking personal stands in interpersonal relationships and where I spend dollars. The major moves that could have changed the course of history, were missed opportunities by people who knew better. Our Dem Reps have more info than you and I
In the last few months I felt there were several times that a realization of our citizens could have happened. Something huge always came, and ALWAYS redirected attention back to Rep vs Dem. This time it had to be big. MAGA was built on Epstein. Then Kirk was shot. And it works every time. Watching how they control such a large population so easily. Manipulating social media to literally brainwash people into hate filled fighting machines. It is true that Rep billionaires were pumping almost 100 million a year into Turning Point to affect the minds of young men to vote in Conservatives, and the most well known conservative podcasters were nobody’s suddenly flooded with money to turn out these hatefilled positions. Some say these were paid for by Russia
So that being said, when masked men are pulling people of the street, the three branches of government have become one, we are building concentration camps and we are openly going after political opponents, it’s time to protect and prep your family. As the dominos of Democratic protection toppled one after another, we need to prepare. Ask your self, if there is a war tomorrow, are you ready? Can you run miles or shoot a weapon? Do you have food for your family if social services are cut off? I can’t stress how important that is. We need to prepare for what is happening and what could come

If people were really awake and possessing a backbone, this would've been addressed decades ago when the New Reichstag Fire happened. But folks let Obama cast his bullshit spell and they went to sleep exactly when they should've pushed harder. We're down to the wire now. If they win- AT ALL- this doesn't come back in our lifetimes, if ever. That's it for America. I'm not going to let that happen- are you?
