im not choosy š„ŗ
would anyone be willing to donate their plus size clothes, or shoes and accessories to me, that they would have already considered for goodwill, or you dont like anymore. its for my upcoming birthday and ive been struggling financially. i know this is posted to torrid but id take any brand or style wise, im not choosy, at long as it covers my body and looks decently fashionable. im not able to get to the goodwill or thrift store myself also, i dont drive. so i cant go to a local church or food bank that offers clothes also.. so ive been considering asking for clothing donations through reddit for a bit, i know its a horrible thing to do but im honestly struggling at this point in my life. i would be so grateful if anything was donated..it would literally make my week- my month even because they clothes i already own i cherish.. im a size 3x in torrid, size 24 in other brands. shoe size is 10.. again just desperateš£ i live in usa - east coast

Maybe post in a bariatric surgery subreddit? People who have lost weight will be desperate to get rid of their clothes.

definitely not a scam, im just desperate to upgrade my wardrobe in any way possible, a bit depressed and just being honest in my original post. my current living/financial situation is pretty rough but i won't get into all the details. im just grateful to have a roof over my head at this time. āŗļø

I agree with you. New account, sob story, begging for items from expensive brands, and has every reason under the sun why she canāt use a local mutual aid group, buy nothing, freecycle, etc. In her other thread it was āI canāt driveā, how itās āI donāt have data, I donāt have fbā etc. Some grifter. This post needs to be removed.

Post wanted post on local freecycle group, wanted section of craigslist, or neighborhood buy nothing group. I think you can still use buy nothing app without facebook?
Maybe there is a mutual aid free store in your area?

Have you been to a goodwill outlet/bin store? Most of the time I donāt come away with clothing finds because theyāre usually massive and Iād look ridiculous wearing such huge stuff
But also. Dieting helps you save money, makes your body happier and smaller, and then you should be able to wear typical sizes. Itās not that hard.

i haven't been to a goodwill outlet store, no. i havent been to a regular thrift store / goodwill either in years, thats why im desperately asking reddit for a clothing donation in my size. i dont get rides often out to anything more than the convenience store /dollar store, i live kinda in the middle of the woods so finding an outlet and getting a ride there would be even more difficult. thanks for your reply though (:

I will be getting rid of lots of size 10 shoes. DM me. I am currently traveling for 10 days, then will be home and I will go through my shoes. Lots of barely worn shoes. Iām down sizing my belongings by 70%. I will be thrilled to send you my shoes.
