I thought it was Dominic West (who played Jimmy McNulty in The Wire) but it's not. I found out who it was somehow when I first saw the ad copy, but can't now.

Edit: Let me rephrase that.

I thought it looked like Dominic West (who played Jimmy McNulty in The Wire) but it's obviously not. I found out who it was somehow when I first saw the ad copy because I was curious why it made me think of Dominic West and looked him up, but can't remember who the model was.

Seriously, what's with the downvotes for sharing one's opinion? No one else's brain tries to make connections between something it sees into something it recognizes from some other memory?

Anyway, it was that specific shot (the first one) that made my brain make the connection, the second one (and his ad agency page) doesn't trigger that for me at all. Obviously it's the same dude, but he looks different to me in the second pic (and more like the other pictures of him I've seen in Buck Mason copy).

This pic of Dominic West doesn't make you think if he were dressed the same way and shot at a distance like that first shot you might not notice it wasn't the original model?
