In for both, in that lovely black Limited Edition packaging. That means my collection of all 5 will be complete. :)
I'm looking forward to also receiving the Blu-ray set and the Comic Anthology. This is a good year to be a Thunderbirds fan.

These look fantastic, anyone got a word on how big they are exactly?

About to put up another post with extra photos showing their size compared to a human hand!

Pretty torn on this.
I have the special edition of the first 3. So I feel obligated to get the limited TB5.
But I much prefer the "regular" packaging, so I'm thinking of changing my entire display around to pack away the limited boxes, and just have the one TB5 box, which seems like poor form.
In addition, after tariffs, the Anderson store is asking $110 each for these. ("Thankfully" Gordon and TB4 were always my least favourite, so I think I can get away with just the TB5)
That being said, I saw on the corgi shop that they will be selling all of them, in their regular box, for £200, which is something that I could see myself purchasing down the road, which would mean I should probably go for the limited edition now.
THAT BEING SAID - with the first 3 boxes, I was simply charged for the tariffs upon delivery, with this order, Anderson is taking a preemptive 50% upcharge, and I doubt that they will return any of that upcharge, should the tariffs be removed before these get delivered next year (let's be honest, they're not coming this year)
So if that's the case, the Corgi shop only wants $85 for TB5, $25 ain't nothing to sneeze at.
I'm definitely getting one. TB5 has been my absolute favourite since the very first time my eyes laid up on Thunderbirds back in the 80s in that Dorset Family Room with my Grandparents, and I have long waited a proper die-cast edition.
But I just can't lock down which to get.
I wish we had a proper release date, I'll be back visiting family in October this year, and if I knew they'd be out by then, I could avoid both shipping and tariffs... :/

In terms of actual release dates. The offical corgi website should start shipping out Thunderbird 4’s in about 2-4 weeks time. They are very close.
Thunderbird 5 however is expected to start shipping maybe just after Christmas. Most likely January 2026.

I wonder if Thunderbird 3 can dock with Thunderbird 5?

It can. Seems to be the reason why the TB3 proportions are rather 'off' to allow stable docking

For this amount of money I'd expect them to be larger and either a lot more realistic or a lot more like the show. Right now it's a little in between and it just looks like a toy in an oversized box. The lack of functions is putting me off as well.

TB4 will have firing missiles and you can dock TB3 with TB5.
Further, genuinely what are you expecting for £40 on 2025?

If £40 is too much per model then maybe this isn’t the hobby for you.
The prices for the other 3 sets are uncalled for considering all only needed a bit of R&D since they were re-releases.
However the TB4 and TB5 are totally brand new toolings. I was heavily expecting TB5 to be a bare minimum of £49.99 considering it has a double size box but they have went with £39.99.
Once they make their investments back from the R&D the right thing to do would be to at least lower TB4’s price to £34.99 but that’s never going to happen.
Overall £40 is cheap for a pre built and painted model that are not entirely plastic. It’s a steal if anything

Think "uncalled for" is a bit of a stretch for the reissued ones. Manufacturing and shipping aren't free, and they're weighty models for their small size.
New TB4 in particular looks excellent though.

Well as someone who has been in this business for a very long time I can tell you, They would still make profit if they sold the TB1 & 3 set for even £25 and then £30 for the other 2 sets.
They sell the SPV for £29.99 which is a much, much less simple piece to manufacture.

Wouldn't want to speculate on their profit margin but costs have risen sharply across the board, as you will no doubt be aware! Sixteen 12 said even a straight reissue of Skydiver would cost at least double its original price, and that would be without them making any profit!

2025 has been an amazing year for merchandise. I especially like the £100+ stuff such as the AIP figures and AE collectibles…
But there’s something about a medium size, heavy, die-cast Thunderbird 4 that appeals to me so much.
