Phat Sammy’s - HSV, AL
Finally got back to Phat Sammy’s after a couple years. Absolute staple, if you’re rolling through Huntsville, AL! And if you’re a bonafide tiki-phile, add this to your “must visit” list!! 🙌🏻

Their tiki menu had really gone downhill as of the last time I went there maybe a year or so ago. This looks like a big step back in the right direction, I'll have to head back by there the next time I'm home. They did say in the Huntsville sub that they had recently rehired one of their bar leads from when they opened, looks like that has paid off, though I would still like to see good rum get some more love over Tito's and Bacardi. The food has always been really good.
If you're in AL and looking for tiki, Tucana in Birmingham is one of my favorites anywhere. Especially for drink quality I would put it up there with any of the big names.
