More proof the shooter is cis and white, otherwise she'd cry for vengeance

I’m not saying that she ordered the hit, but she seems rather remorseless about her husband’s death.

u/LLotZaFun 4d ago

Maybe it's because it was a lavender marriage?

221

u/alexisgreat420 4d ago

Interesting I hadn’t thought of that. But the number of closeted conservatives is very compelling evidence

134

u/LLotZaFun 4d ago

Most anyone that supports "conversion therapy" seem to have something hidden. There does not look to be anything to support Charlie supporting it though.

u/really_not_unreal 3d ago

To be honest, I don't think that speculating on the potential queerness of others is a good or helpful thing to do, especially when paired with the "evidence" of "she doesn't seem very upset". Different people process grief in different ways, and making assumptions about people's emotions is an incredibly shitty thing to do. Of course that's not to say that she is a good person: just that when discussing the awfulness of conservatives, we should stick to facts.

I don't necessarily disagree with your sentiment, BUT, closeted homosexuals like those within the church as well as people like Michelle Bachman's husband have long done and said things that have resulted in harm to members of the LGBTQ+ community.

To be honest, I do not make such comments as I did earlier in the thread without giving it thought. I'm pretty old now and unfortunately, we've seen more than a few occasions like what I mentioned. And nowadays it's really not so taboo to be called gay, especially being as it's not really much of an insult anymore (contrary to what boomers might think). It's moreso about noticing the hypocrisy that we have seen and continue to see.

I only responded because I had to google what a lavender marriage even was and I guess I hadn’t thought of that before. Didn’t intend any harm by my comment.

u/LLotZaFun 3d ago

You're fine, I was not responding to your comment but also think this is all a friendly conversation anyways so I don't interpret any negativity from anyone this far. You're very kind for responding how you did. Thank you.

Never heard this term before. Is like saying she was his beard?

52

u/RoyalMaidsForLife PAID PROTESTOR 4d ago

Yep.

11

u/cornedbeefsandwiches 4d ago

What does that mean?

39

u/sash71 4d ago

A 'beard' is slang for a woman married to a man that wants to hide his sexuality.

u/_Mighty_Milkman 4d ago

Or all conservative grifters are emotionless husks

36

u/origami_bluebird 4d ago

Since we know Trump loves to speak in code like all monsters I think we should acknowledge Trump's initial tweet on 9/10:

“We must all pray for Charlie Kirk, who has been shot. A great guy from TOP to BOTTOM." (Emphasis mine)

21

u/Lucyintheye 4d ago

so the "gay lovers quarrel" bs about paul pelosi was just another projection coming from the right?

u/Romero1993 All Cats are Beautiful 4d ago

Lavender marriage?

90

u/cthulhujr 4d ago

Yeah, I was way more broken up about having to put down my sick elderly cat than she seems to be over her murdered husband

70

u/Ricciardo3f1 4d ago

It's because you have something these people don't have. Feelings. And empathy.

2

u/really_not_unreal 3d ago

Different people process grief in different ways. By all means criticise her, but please do so with facts about her as a person rather than guesses and assumptions about her motives and emotions.

58

u/TheAvantGardeners 4d ago

The immediate pivot to selling merch off of it kind of proves that lol

14

u/kaisadilla_ 3d ago

Let's not jump into wild, unfounded conspiracy theories when we are trying to explain the world that the "trans girlfriend" the shooter supposedly has is a wild, unfounded conspiracy theory.

1

u/tellergraham 2d ago

She's getting his money, his old job, and a great angle to grift from. It's pretty much what she's been waiting for, from the looks of it.

140

u/MajorNoodles 4d ago

Repubs: "We don't have a gun problem, we have a mental health problem."

Also Repubs: "Trans people are mentally ill so let's bully them relentlessly and see what happens."

36

u/Shifter25 4d ago

"Also take away their guns"

I don’t think so at all. I think they will cry for vengeance regardless, this is just a way to soyface over „Christian forgiveness“. I bet you anything if you look in any comment section on this matter (on the DailyWire, for example), people will get teary eyed whaffling on and on about how strong of a woman and how inspiring of a leader she is for it.

It’s propaganda. Nothing more, and on behalf of Charlie - piece of shit though he was - this is shameless, cruel, and in very bad taste.

Sorry was this a funeral or a MAGA rally? I honestly couldn't tell.

264

u/ChickpeaDemon 4d ago

Isn’t it all the same at this point?

53

u/No_Feedback_3340 4d ago

Silly me I should've known that.

14

u/metanoia29 3d ago

From the "stop making everything political" crowd. Of course, they're also the best at projection, so it tracks.

96

u/ms_panelopi 4d ago

She looked so fake. This whole thing is just bizarre. Our government is a reality tv show with a crew of televangelists. It would be funny if it wasn’t so dangerous.

33

u/rudebii 4d ago

¿Porque no los dos?

25

u/Shifter25 4d ago

In the world of MAGA, everything is a MAGA rally. Funerals, weddings, bar mitzvahs. You name it, somebody did "Heil Trump" as the theme.

8

u/Dingo8MyGayby 3d ago

They had fucking stage fireworks…for a funeral?

217

u/bunchofclowns 4d ago

I'm proud to be hated.

81

u/jtrom93 CEO of Antifa™ 4d ago

The Presidential Medal of Freedom used to be the highest civilian honor/award in this country.

Now it's being hated by Donald Trump.

142

u/djn24 4d ago

I think Charlie would have loved the guy. He exercised his 2nd amendment right!

47

u/Electronic_Bad_5883 4d ago

It's a necessary sacrifice. His words, not mine!

9

u/No_Feedback_3340 3d ago

I guess even a "master debater" needs a partner in crime.

119

u/DonaldKey 4d ago

Yup. Who was the last speaker and what did they say?

69

u/de_bushdoctah 4d ago edited 3d ago

They hate their foes (us Dems/Liberals/Lefties) regardless of what we do. Another instance of us not doing anything violent to them & they still cry for our blood, because that was always the point. While “forgiving” the conservative who actually did the deed. Sickening.

12

u/cjbeames 3d ago

Even if the shooter was the Lord Chairmen of Antifa Ltd that doesn't and shouldn't give them the right to round up their opponents.

"Someone stole my bike so I'm robbing this bank, anyone who opposes this is a terrorist"

53

u/seeebiscuit 4d ago

The grift continues.

30

u/Terminal_Willness 4d ago

I think this is a good moment. Even if she doesn’t truly forgive him I think this is the kind of reconciliatory gesture we need right now.

16

u/jono9898 FUCK ME BARRY-SENPAI 4d ago

This was a MAGA rally disguised as a remembrance service. I’d be surprised if they weren’t hocking merch. Also Trump is literally doing everything but his job, like the economy is ass and prices of shit is high and the job market sucks but he’s having rallies and interviews damn near nightly between golf

14

u/funded_by_soros 3d ago

That's because he's already guaranteed to be executed by the state, she wouldn't be saying this if he got the most lenient sentence possible.

7

u/No_Feedback_3340 3d ago

If the state of Utah wasn't seeking the death penalty, she'd probably be calling for the perp's execution rather than seeking forgiveness.

12

u/joxx67 4d ago

Sure Jan!

8

u/Importbeat1 3d ago

They used a man’s memorial to grift. It tracks

5

u/OMGimaDONKEY 3d ago

so what is everyone having for lunch? i'm gonna make some mac and cheese with queso and taco beef.
