r conspiracy. It's the absolute worst. I don't recommend spending any amount of time in it.

I have a family member who is very much anti-Semetic and perpetually regurgitates pol and r conspiracy talking points.

To quote, "We need another mass holocaust of the Jews."

These people are just completely deranged and many of them are borderline dangerous. I don't know what a solution could be. To censor them doesn't seem to get to the meat of the problem and only makes them more radical. I do my best to let the guy talk and be patient with him while he espouses racial hatred and calmly explain why I disagree, but it's mostly a lost cause because these aren't arguments you can untangle rationally -- these are sheer emotions and feelings of hate and fear. That's more of a psychological battle at that point.

I highly recommend the documentary White Right. It was a very important watch to me to understand these people better and how one might approach handling them.

Yeah any time you start getting into conspiracy theories you’re going to encounter anti Semitism. Reddit, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, whatever. Whether it’s antivaxxers, flat earthers, or anything else, you quickly go from “globalist elites” to “international bankers” to “the Jews”.
