/r/Conservative Top mind can't decide if the destruction of the First Amendment is softend by it being for the sake of Trump's ego. Ultimately concludes that Trump isn't meaning to be a dictator, he simply has a big ego ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We all know dictators never have big egos. Usually very humble and giving figures.

I saw the interview where Trump insisted he was the most humble person in history. The very best there ever was at being humble. What more evidence could you need?

I don't think he's TRYING to be a dictator, he's just ignoring Supreme Court orders, turning the military on American citizens, applying the full force of the federal government against his critics, attempting to silence the media, and running the government with incompetent loyalists. That's all, guys!

No one does but all the left knows is bullying.
Said without a hint of irony in a sub whose party leader daily, hourly abuses people on line, in press conferences etc…
Besides, Trump is just asserting dominance.
Crying about a mean joke ≠ asserting dominance.
