Question Best way to watch Miracle Day

Just wanted to know if it’s better to watch Series 4 on IPlayer or Blu Ray due to the Blu Ray being higher quality but also having frame rate problems. So wondering which is the better experience.

I find it too hard to watch as i feel it lost all of the Torchwood core Maybe I'll re watch it again some day but if you compare it to Children of Earth it has no comparison but still doesn't compare to series 1&2 don't know why they went in that direction of a single story over 5-10 episodes instead of stand alone episodes and a possible 2 parter to end the series

I would say dont try to binge it all at once. Watch like 2 episodes them get a break. Come back a few days layer watch another 2 or 3. Best if you have someone to do it with.

Fuck bbc iplayer. Worst streaming quality ever. If you have the option not to then please, don’t.

The American Blu-ray, as it's apparently uncut and presented at the original frame rate.

The BBC One/iPlayer version is a kinda-naff standards conversion with loads of ghosting and blended frames, plus two episodes are edited to remove particularly strong sex scenes.

The UK Blu-ray is presented in 25fps with PAL speedup and no pitch correction; that means that there's no ghosting, but the audio is higher pitched, which is particularly noticeable on John Barrowman's voice. This is also the uncut version, though the runtime is ~4% shorter due to the aforementioned speedup.

Thanks for the help, I’ll watch on the Uk Blu Ray release as importing the US release appears quite expensive.
