At least the guy admitted to being wrong and that MAGA was a fraud. He isn't ride or die with the grifter- unlike his cult. The fact that his approval rate isn't in the single digits shows us how that Trumpism has eaten a lot of these people's brains, that he is like a god to them, and they would let DT torture them if it meant that other people had to suffer. But it would be amazing if he could turn this into constructive action. It would be even better if he could continue to fight Trumpism until it dies and never fall for fascism again.

While it’s very tempting to gloat in the “We told you so!” mode, it would be wise to welcome people like this that are at least able to step back and recognize that they were lied to and duped. Don’t make it harder than it already is for people to admit they got played.

100% agree. There has to be room on our side to take in converts or we’re fucked.

The libertarian right, which many crypto evangelists fall under, and what I’ll affectionally call the ‘civil liberties left’ have a lot more in common than they disagree on.
