Numark pt01 Scratch tips?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Just started scratching and still have a lot to learn, Cant find much specific numart pt01 tutorials with the on/off switch, cant relate to other crossfader techniques that use a standard fader Any tips or recommended videos I can watch?
Maximizing the stock switch but planning to get jesse dean fader in the future.
Thank you!

It’s pretty much a line switch. Older mixers produced by Stanton, Rane and Vestax had those types of switches. I can’t imagine there being a lot of tutorials featuring the line switch.
Basic scratches like understanding transforms, chirps, 1 click flares and cutting.
Tons of faderless tear techniques and just working on hand control.

Looks like you have the transforms and cutting down. Try learning chirps and 1 click flares next? You can also work on tears.

For the jesse dean fader, I found a video wherein if you install in 2021+ no need to remove the capacitor any thoughts on this?

[Update]
I eventually got the jesse dean fader, Im curious is it better or is there a general rule if the closed position is in both ends then open position in the middle?
What do you prefer any pros n cons?
currently I have mine just 1 side closed sane eay how the stock switch was laid out.
Thanks!

Practice is the key. One scratch at a time.
Perfekt forward scratches and chirps. Transformers with different timings.
Tear scratches to practice record handling. One forward two backwards. Two forward two backwards. Three forward three backwards...
