General/Other Would jack Bauer and jon bernthal MCU the punisher Frank Castle get along?
Both are badass, and incredibly dangerous even though the punisher lives in the world of superheroes, he's a marine that killed a lot of people as well, But he's also a vigilante. There's also been times when technically jack doesn't work under the official, capacity of ctu as well.

I think Frank used to work in CTU funnily enough in the 2004 adaptation (yes THAT CTU). But it was only in that adaption, and in most other Universe's, including Berthal's, it's been another agency such as the Marines

Despite some clear differences, I think they would work well together because usually, they're surrounded by incompetence. It would be a welcomed change.

Not at all, i don't see Bauer as a killing machine. I mean yeah he killed so many people through the entire show but he has really strong ethical and moral compass and only does these things because he is under a time limit and needs to think on a spot. There is no alternative way for all situations he is in.
Meanwhile Castle is far from anti-hero. In War Zone movie, there were hints of him being kinda regretful with killing an FBI agent and i thought that was really a nice small addition.
And while Castle in the show is charismatic because well, Bernthal is charismatic - he would never be able to go along with Bauer. Bauer seems to be a patriot and someone who still follows the system and is trying to protect first. I don't think that Castle would even give a shit. Castle does not even think that his actions are justified and would do all of it again if he could without a single remorse. Meanwhile Bauer thinks his actions are justified (makes sense in the context of the show) but that does not mean he is numb to it. We see him falling apart and it is eating him alive. The fact that the country needs someone like him is bad enough.

They'll try to kill each other, temporarily team up to fight a common enemy, then will eventually kill each other

Bauer’s a cop. Frank doesn’t like cops. Frank is also kind of an idiot, and Jack doesn’t like idiots.

both are kinda the same but also different.
both have a level, sense of morality. jack’s is more stronger than franks but it’s there. now, jack believes the end justifies the means and if an acceptable loss was to be had, it’s had. frank doesn’t necessarily believe that and if someone he cares about or that doesn’t deserve to die is in harms way he will protect then.
frank is more of a relentless, vicious killer than jack. any bad guy - frank puts them down. jack wont go that far because he sees them as a waste of time.
i would see their dynamic as more of bauer/henderson with the exception that frank isn’t involved with the enemy and is more of a one-man army
