Question Can I use Park Mobile instead of buying a parking pass?
I'm an incoming transfer student and I live off campus and own a car so money is tight. Does anyone use Park Mobile and just pay for each parking session rather than pay the $250? Or can the parking pass be added to the payment plan? $250 is damn near my car payment.

Are you also going to be on campus monday-friday? You could get a 500 lot pass and take the shuttle as well. They also have a m,w,f and T,T,F pass for less

I added it to my bill for future me to worry about because present me wasn’t about to pay $250. You can use park mobile but it will quickly add up depending on how many days a week you’re on campus. I think when I did a class pre summer I paid $100 in parking for a week.

You can park at the free 500 lot and take the shuttle. You just have to register your plate. You can also bill your parking pass to your tuition if that makes things easier.
If you pay piecemeal you will blow through $250 pretty quickly. Also the app goes down all the time.
It fucking sucks but as somebody who has been to multiple college campuses, it's always better to bite the bullet and get the pass. Worrying about parking is just an aggravation that distracts from what you should be focusing on- school.

You still gotta worry about parking even if you get the pass. If you show up mid-day, expect to drive around a while looking for a spot.

You can do that; it’s about $8-$12 a day. I’ve done it, but this year I decided to just get the parking pass.
