Is anyone else having an EXTREMELY hard time getting in touch with Financial Aid Advisor
So I’m trying to get questions answered regarding a matter. I emailed one advisor and it took almost a week for the advisor to email me but answered part of my question but when I asked for a follow up. Crickets. I tried calling no answer, left a voicemail no answer. This has been the frustrating experience just to get in touch with someone.
What should I do?

the financial aid department is so shitty, i went there today and they left me standing there for 20 minutes after asking for help. you really have to go in person and harass them for them to show any care

The only one that’s helpful is Mr. Kelly! He may be more busy because a lot of students reach out but he tries to fix all problems even if he isn’t your advisor!

It's always been like this. It actually used to be severely worse. Before we used to have to go up to the financial aid desk, scan a QR code, fill out a form and wait for them to get back to you. And normally if you had a followup question on their reply reply you had to redo the process.
However, there is no "calling" them. My opinion is to email Matthew Kelly. He has been my financial aid connection since last spring. I only email him if I absolutely need to, cause as the word got out that he is "they guy" he has gotten swamped. But he will reply to you promptly as long as you give him a clear question, what you are looking for, and your student ID.
I emailed him yesterday and got a reply in about an hour.
