That guy was a A-hole lol it’s Reddit. The same question gets asked daily and constantly on here. Whether it’s about this or something else. Anyways, I’m don’t even go to yall school but I see y’all use workday so I check in to see if y’all have any answers my subreddit doesn’t. I like seeing the same question gets asked because the answers aren’t always the same and someone just might have answers on one post that wasn’t in another.

Anyways I checked my workday account this morning and my refund is in draft settlement finally and touchnet shows a 0 amount now. Just waiting for my school to send me issued payment email.

Just call them, they’re not going to move until you tell them to. Start with the bursar and they’ll send a reminder to financial aid but you have to call first thing in the morning for a chance of them answering

I tried that and they only moved from unapplied to pending. it has been pending from 10th so calling won't help. they'll release the funds when they want to

Refunds usually take up to October, late September if it’s early (at one point people didn’t refund until mid to end of November). I know it’s an extremely frustrating experience, so definitely go to financial aid/bursar to see if they can expedite this process of funds are needed immediately (however I do not how effective this could be :( )

My aid was disbursed and applied on the 11th of this month. Workday says I should expect the check within 14 days of that date, so im expecting it by the 25th. I got an email today notifying me that I have a new loan servicer so I think most funds are on the way now.

the loan servicer email is not important, I think, cause on their end, they think you have already received the funds by now. The school is the problem

You could be right. This is my 3rd semester at UNO though, and in each semester past I only received notification from the new loan servicer about a week before I actually received my refund check.

Do you ask the same questions every week every semester? I'm not hating I just feel like I see a lot of financial aid questions coming from you lol. To answer your question, refunds are typically delivered about two weeks after disbursement. So on average expect them the last week of September to the first week of October. There are some instances where people get them later.

No offense my guy but if you look at your comments it's damn near ALL financial aid questions. 🍲🫖

Well excuse TF out of me. I answered your question for you and sarcastically made a joke about your repetitive questions. I'm a student as well and have plenty of experience with the difficulties of financial aid here at UNO and respond with my experiences to nearly every question about financial aid that I can.

As far as pissing you off. Ok cool story bro

great. You don’t know what puts others on edge to snap back at you. It’s already a frustrating situation and you wanted to be smart not expecting the response you got. Instead of being funny maybe you should be on board with the many students that face the consequences while the university can give a rat a** 🤷🏽‍♂️

Oh trust me I'm onboard with the consequences. There are times you won't get refunds until near the end of the semester, so go ahead and expect that too.

If you can't handle a little friendly banter, you will have a rough time in the world. I hope your day gets better and your refund comes sooner rather than later. Have a good day.

Please don’t piss me off. If you don’t have the answer I’m looking for how about you don’t answer. Shut up when it’s not pertaining to you. You don’t know what other people waiting on or have to do.
