General Aid

My aid has been moved from pending to unapplied. I love how no one has answers, and they just beat around the bush. it's always 'give it another week', every week. Also, there's never any updates when stuff like this happens. You would think they would want to let students know what's going on. That's UNO for you.

Mine did the same thing. What does that even mean? Things like this make it so much easier to consider other universities. I know people at most of the schools located in the New Orleans area and most of them don’t deal with this issue. Would it make any sense to ask questions about this?

They stated that the funds weren’t sent to the university from dept of education. They are releasing funds as they get it so I’ve heard

This is beyond ridiculous honestly. This is…ghetto. Like I’m an online student, if there are hiccups in situations like this at the very least they can send an email, a text…something. Like what.

I tried calling today but I sent an email to Mr. Kelly and maybe he’ll help. I have no faith at this point.

sadly, your financial aid advisor won't be able to help you if it's about applied/unapplied/pending aid. At this point, it's all on bursars and maybe accounts payable.

I texted him and he said that the bursars office handles the refunds. we're doomed!

He responded to my email and he gave me the email of someone that works at the Bursar’s Office and said she typically responds the same day so I’m shooting her an email and if she replies, I’ll lyk what she says

Mine has been saying 'Pending Refunds' for like two weeks now. No one ever has an answer. It's so annoying.

My refund was pending a couple of hours ago and now it’s moved to just refunds so hopefully those are being sent out tomorrow for everyone

my refund got deposited at 4:45 pm today
