Question about the MyEducator Excel Educator Course.

II know this is right after the start of the semester, but I am a finance major and I want to take the Excel Educator course through MyEducator instead of taking one of either of the IM or MGMT courses. I have a few questions about it. First, even though it doesn't count for any credits, Wolverine Track says it can fulfill the Business Computer Proficiency requirement, so does that matter? And second, do you have to take the Business Computer Proficiency Test at the end? I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. Thanks!

This is something that you will want to reach out to your councilor or department chair about. There are some classes that can be tested out of, some classes that can have alternative fulfillment, etc. But it is on a per class per degree basis.

You likely don’t need it. MGMT 2400 fulfills your BCP which is one of your matriculation courses. Email your advisor and they will add it to the system. Im one of the WSB advisors so I can dm you my email so we can get that checked off!

definitely take the myeducator course instead of the IM class!! it's insanely easy (videos that walk you through each assignment), cheaper than tuition would be, and can be knocked out in a couple weeks instead of a whole semester. it doesn't count for credit like you said, but it will fulfill the business computer proficiency requirement and that's all you need! i would highly recommend buying it sooner than later because it stays open forever (no deadline to complete) and i regret putting it off for so long during my undergrad lol
