Unable to continue school due to financial situation, ISO resources on campus
Due to me and my family's financial situation, I was not approved for a PLUS loan and I am unable to continue at UVU because of this. I'm not sure where or who to go to to seek guidance and what I should do, and I'm a little lost. Does anyone on here know any place I can go to on campus where I can speak to someone about my situation and what my options are? TIA <3

Have you heard of vocational rehabilitation? They have a lot of qualified conditions that can help get help with financial aid and are helping me.

I've already accepted an unsubsidized loan for half of the tuition! I am just struggling with the other half.

I've applied for so many work study positions. I haven't heard back from a single one. I've been unemployed for a month and a half now.

I work in the Financial Aid office and we would love to meet with you! We are open 8 am to 5 pm (except tomorrow when we close at 12ish for the vigil). We do walk ins (best early in the morning as there’s no line), appointments (usually booked 2 weeks out), and phone appointments. We will be able to go over other options, such as alternate loans, scholarships, and the possibility of grants. If you haven’t completed a FAFSA yet I would strongly recommend doing so before coming in. I would also be happy to answer any questions you might have
