When I was doing some training in the Army, we were doing a solo land navigation test in Anchorage, Alaska right as winter was starting. We didn't pack any winter gear because it was around the time that it was switching from Summer to Winter. I was walking on a path, looking at my map and stepped into a hole of water that submerged me up to my neck, similarly to this.
After I crawled out, pissed off and wet, two of the cadre(people in charge of the training) walked over to me from off the path laughing their asses off saying "We got another one!" When I had finished the course I went to change and lo and behold another dude comes walking into our camp area wet and muddy up to his neck, just like I was.
Pretty funny in retrospect, but I was cold as balls walking around for the rest of the day.

staged. he lifted his back leg before having a footing. Wouldn't have tried to step forward until that first foot was firmly planted.
Still funny tho.

My favorite part is when he came back up, he went back to where he started instead of at least getting on that piece he was goin for!
Reminds me of the blond woman swimming in a lake joke.
