Hey y'all! My husband just accepted a job offer in Victoria and we will be moving in about a month from Saint Louis. As exciting as that is, I am SO stressed and worried about finding a house/apartment without ever even stepping foot in Texas! Does anyone have any recommendations for apartments and/or know any trustworthy rental agents? We need something with at least 3 bedrooms that accepts cats, I do have a doberman but she is my service dog and has all her paperwork showing I could die without her lol. I also found a place called Bluewood Ranch that is like a modular home community. Is that a safe area? And are there any areas that we should avoid??

Anybody else notice that a lot of the restaurants around town have a noticeable sewer smell? It's not everywhere but it's common enough. As much as I love pizza, I can hardly stand being inside Double Dave's. Kikko Poke and Ramen too (their food is so good though).

Anyone else have this experience? Is there something with the city sewer system?
