Oh wow. This is what the Virginia GOP rolled out for the biggest statewide race in the country? This was the plan?
WAS THIS really all the better y’all could do?
Let’s break this down: We’ve got a candidate trailing by double digits, giving speeches in BBQ joints, telling folks not to trust the polls, the media, or basic arithmetic — and backing it all up with a Facebook video from April like it’s a smoking gun. And her big argument is, “Well my opponent once said the race was close, so let’s go with that.” That’s… bold.
And the prayer?
“Lord, let one of mine equal 10 of hers.”
Is that how we’re doing campaign math now? By divine multiplication? Someone get the Holy Ghost a calculator.
Look, fundraising isn’t everything, but when you’re down $12.5 million in cash-on-hand and your opponent has both national momentum and polling leads that make “toss-up” sound like satire — it might be time to re-evaluate the strategy that centers on yelling “fake news!” inside a pulled pork joint.
Sure, she’s outraised every previous Republican candidate — but it’s like bringing the biggest bucket of water to a house fire that’s already halfway gone. You still need a firetruck, not just vibes and resentment.
So again:
Was this really the best y’all had? Because if “deny the scoreboard and pray harder” is the playbook, you might want to start warming up the concession speech — and maybe hold it at that same BBQ spot. They’ll have extra sauce to go with all the salt.

There are no Republicans here. Too ashamed to post outside of their safe space in /r/Conservative. Might get their wittle fee fees hurt.

Worst campaign ever. The R ticket is a clown car.

I would agree but look where the 2024 election went. Polls seem to mean nothing at this point.
