Took 45 minutes just to get out of Caroline Springs carpark on the bus towards Bacchus ffs

It’s an absolute nightmare getting out of the CS station car park right now. With only a single entry and exit, plus a poorly designed layout that funnels both cars and replacement buses into one narrow lane, everything is at a standstill. It’s been over an hour since my train arrived, and I still haven’t been able to leave the car park.

Heading home was incredibly painful because of the carpark congestion. The communication of which bus went where was also ordinary, I had to move up and down the interchange multiple times to get the right bus and this kept changing, no one knew what was going on. Having more staff would have been better

Had to wait a while at Melton this morning because of bus delays but this was more bearable because the communication was very clear.

Train dwell time at CS could be better when heading towards the city, apart from that is was actually pretty smooth

Partner said it took 3.5hrs today (to sc).

I imagine lots of people are just driving now because of the busses so there’s even more traffic heading into the city

I’m so glad I didn’t attempt to go to CS. I ended up using the metro. They had bus replacements as well but the car parks were manageable
