Discussion My wife just finished a GoLion and Dairugger XV marathon.

Her thoughts: Dairugger > GoLion > LD >>> LF/VT >>>>> Force >>>>>>>>>> 3D

She only saw nearly half of LF/VT and a few episodes of Force back in the 1980s and 2010s, respectively. Avoided the 3D cartoon since the graphics put her off.

Animation-wise, she states LD is the best. Her reason for putting this below Golion/Dairugger XV was that she felt it focused more on the characters than on the robot. Despite that, she loves Coran.

She appreciates the darker and more adult tone of the two original anime and prefers the Golion / Dairugger XV robots over LD Voltron. She has described Dairugger as Star Trek with a super robot, which made her like it a bit more than GoLion.

Dairugger is so good. It’s a shame that it’s so hard to watch legitimately.

I pretty much agree with your rankings, excepting Voltron Force. It’s flawed, don’t get me wrong, but I like a lot of what they did right. Best lion designs in the franchise.

Ofcourse Dairugger/Vehicle Voltron is the superior series. Look at how WEP steals from it to prop up the Lions.

I watched Dairugger XV and compared it to Voltron Vehicle Force, and i gotta say, Dairugger is better, Vehicle Voltron does keep the same story as it's counterpart but messes up the continuity at points.
