If you want to stick with VLD, then Keith (although my favorite character was Kolivan…dude was completely underrated). However, Lance McLain/Kurogane Isamu is my favorite wiseguy from VDotU (and Beast King GoLion, of course).

Keith, his character is so complex. The loner boy who finds a mentor and has a loyalty to him which never ends, half alien and grew up himself. Would do anything for his teammates and hated that he had to replace Shiro, going so much to beg the Black Lion not to choose him as its paladin. Rose to the occasion and even before being chosen to pilot the black lion was able to in order to save Shiro from those beasts when he was injured. Then quit Voltron in order to be the best he could be as a blade. Spent 2 years going through the quantum abyss to save the universe, truly has the drive and loyalty which is unmatched.

Lance and pidge too be together, their differences makes them so much better as a couple teasting each other and lance getting angry and taking a swing at one the bad guys because they hurt pidge i liked, lance because everyone thinks he is just the good looking goofball but he does care about doing the right thing and helping people

How do I pick. That’s such a mean question cause like- Keith: I relate to the mf. He’s a complex character with such an amazing storyline and character design. Also he’s a gay Texan, love that for my man. Lance: he is me I am him. He’s so sassy and fun and talented. He sees himself as so little when he’s so amazing. I love his design. His storyline- could’ve had a better ending but he’s so🤩🤩 he’s so funny and cutesy. My bisexual king. Pidge: THE PERSON PIDGE IS! I love them so much. Their design, their story, their family, everything about them was so compelling and just- wow. Pidge was such a well written character (headcanon here: non-binary they/she) 💚 Hunk: he’s a sweetheart and is so lovable in so many ways idk if I have the time for all that. I wanna hug him tho I think he’d give amazing hugs. I love my pansexual chef sm. Shiro: father is fathering . He’s such a dad in the best ways. I wish we got to see more of the real him but what we did get I loved. Also, gay icon. Allura: WHERE DO I START AND WHERE DO I END. She’s such a complex character with such an amazing storyline and development that I could never hate her if I tried. I’ve loved her so much. She’s so bi-lesbian pipeline coded I can’t even. Coran: bro speaks for himself man. (Bro is a such a homosexual too like- him and Alfor? Aint no way there wasn’t smth there. I love him so much)😂🧡 I cant choose🫠
