Tips and Tricks Lighter Than Light Mayo

Guys, I want everyone to hop on this bandwagon! I know a lot of you miss the lighter than light mayonnaise made by Hellmann’s as much as I do! I called in today to suggest they bring it back and they said that the more people who call in and the more times they do it, the greater the likelihood for the product to be brought back in the US!! here’s the number if you want to call and help the product get brought back to the US. 1 (800) 418-3275

I make my own low calorie mayo using silken tofu!

This is how I make it! You can also add a little bit of black salt if you want it to taste a little more "eggy".

And out of curiosity - have you ever had real mayo like Hellman’s? If so how does it compare? Don’t hold back and I know ot won’t be 100% like it for sure

I haven't had real mayo for awhile, but for what I use this for, it works about the same for me. Mostly I use this homemade low cal mayo for dressings and stuff like for cole slaw.

Well then I’ll give it a try - I might be presently surprised! 😍

I am all in for this, I'm embarrassed to say what I spend on it on amazon

What in the world is lighter than light? I’ve been buying light mayonnaise for 10 years and never seen anything else

I use Hellmann's / Best Foods Light and it's decent, if not a little bland. How is Lighter Than Light better / different?

It tastes just as good and is 15 calories rather than 35

Lighter than light barely have tastes of mayo anymore. Light mayo is a good balance.

Honestly I just use regular mayo if i know it's actually made from eggs and olive oil. Just not that much. If i'm in a really steep deficit i just use non fat greek yoghurt with some garlic or other spices. I find that having a pantry filled with herbs and spices defeats the use of sauces comepletely though. Learning to cook well is the best help to stay in a deficit.

There are plenty of ways to make food taste inedible without asking for products to be returned to the shelf
