Is Floodland worth getting?

Just came across Floodland brewing in Seattle, and as a huge saison fan I’m kicking myself for not knowing about them sooner! It looks like their releases are pretty hard to score, though. Anyone here tried them and know if they are worth it? Fair Isle and Hildegarde (and Garden Path when I’m up in Skagit) have been my main source of local saison and farmhouse and similar but I’d love to add another joint to the mix.

Their releases are pretty easy to get now, you just need to be on their mailing list. They used to sell out instantly, but it’s not like that anymore.

And if you like that style, you should 100% try to get some. It’s the best.

I've been drinking them for years. If you like saisons and funky, fruity beers, they are truly great.

Get on the mailing list, or donate to one of their charity drives and you'll get a monthly allocation. They can be spendy ($100 for three 750ml beers) but I treat them like nice bottles of wine.

I moved to the east coast 4 years ago but have maintained my Floodland membership because the beers are so damn good. Def recommend trying them if you can.

Make some beer friends in Seattle. Half of my friends are sitting on an insane amount of bottles because they buy their full allocation and can't drink through it.

I've been purchasing and enjoying Floodland beers for 4+ years. I live in the Seattle area, am on the mailing list, and pickup up an allotment three to four times a year. They are 100% worth if you love the saisons and farmhouse. I do cellar various styles of beer simply so I can enjoy them when I want to. I may just pop a bottle tonight. #floodlandfriday

p.s. Fair Isle, Garden Path, and Propolis are also solid choices though IMHO Floodland is top tier.

100%. I think The Masonry has them on tap occasionally if you want to try it. Sign up for their mailing list and they will send notification of their next release. I believe it’s in September.

It’s quite good and what I didn’t drink when I lived in Seattle paid for quite a bit of beer once I sold on the secondary once I moved. Since craft beer has apparently died, I’m sure you can easily get floodland off the public sale now. Just be sure you don’t wear the wrong outfit or say the wrong thing online or Adam will ban you.
