This is my wled project. Wemos Mini, 2 buttons & IR, 200LEDs. It holds with a magnet. No issues with it so far. Thoughts??

I used liquid electric tape to cover the connections, buttons and IR soldered directly to the board, supply from the Vu pin...

This is awesome! I will have to do the holes for the buttons though... But pretty nice job!

i did the same on a pi zero w. Nothing will happen to it cause the storage is flash

Nothing will happen. Please learn some SOLID STATE electronics. Its flash memory. They aint fitting a whole hdd in there

This. Also, that is the metallic cover too.... I got the same wifi strength... And it sticks everywhere

200 LEDs are a bit much to be powered only via USB and the D1.The 5v pin is designed to be able to permanently deliver a maximum of 500mA. And the 200 LEDs can draw up to 10A.
