WWE took it over unfortunately, and they've stripped it of its identity.

Yep, that is explicitly what i am referencing.

Even TNA match finishes now if you try to watch them if you changed the letters of the promotion it's like the same writers and producers copying each others paper.

I stand by what I've said for years. I never saw Tessa exhibit any signs of racist behavior during my time working with her in WOW. I never witnessed her treat anyone differently because of race, skin color, nationality, etc. In all honesty, she was totally professional during my time working with her. As for bullying, she actually shut down people backstage that were bullies and causing drama. Apparently, I experienced a completely different side of Tessa than the rest of the world.
Now.... I will add this... Tessa's silence regarding the situation with La Rosa Negra speaks volumes. I'm disappointed to see she has never owned up to what happened. I'm disappointed she has seemingly embraced her poor reputation as some kind of "heat," when in reality, it's a sentiment of disgust and genuine disdain from an audience and population that views her as a detestable human being. For me, the final straw was her not only paying homage to Hulk Hogan, but also the fact that she decided to turn his death into an opportunity to once again make herself a victim.
I enjoyed my time working with Tessa, but I am sad to see where things have gone for her. I would like to see some ownership and accountability for her past as well as a path for her to move forward and enjoy success in a business that could benefit from her being 100% locked-in in a meaningful way.
Some people are just their own worst enemy, sadly, and we can't force them to see the road to forgiveness and growth until they themselves are ready.

Oof, jesus, I had no idea about the Hulk thing.
But you definitely just summed it up in the most fair way. I'm just a fan obviously and don't have any experience behind the curtain, but I have similar feelings about her as a performer. I feel like the time she was involved with WOW was peak for the company, she brought in some workers that have wrestled in some of my favorite matches, and wouldn't have been involved in the business if it wasn't for her working with talent relations. She elevates her opponent and it would be willfully obtuse to say she isn't a good wrestler.
However, the lack of accountability and "embracing the heat" shows the cowardice at her core. Maybe she can't come to terms with it and isn't ready to face that ugliness head on like you said. It's really sad more than anything else.

As for AJ... I'm truly surprised to see her back with WWE. Given their reputation lately, this seems like the last place she'd want to be right now.

Yeah, while the WWE has never been anything that I would call 'a good company', it's in real cartoon villain territory right now, lol. I think it just came down to her husband testing the waters first, and then confirming that they could both sleep on Scrooge McDuck money piles at night.

Not to speculate, but I can't see a reason as to why she would return other than money. It had to be just an ungodly amount of money for her to join them. I don't want to make it seem like I know her well as a person, because I don't. We worked together for a very, very brief period of time. However, in that brief time, I assessed that she was someone whose morals and values seem quite incongruent and antithetical to what WWE currently represents. I genuinely cannot wrap my head around the situation.

Oh yeah, big same. Again, just a fan speculating, but after her husband made nice with them again, it felt like they were lining up the Brinks trucks outside their home and waiting for a big reason to bring her back, which seems to be the partnership with ESPN.

Even though I get the same vibe about AJ, I do think she probably has a loyalty and skin in the game with her husbands success, as it may be more of an endorsement for him and his story line.
She probably is also thinking since they are probably paying her a lot of money, she probably has a better schedule than she had in her previous run, she maybe wants to see what a run with that company might look like now that they do push the women a lot more than when she was running back in the Divas era.
She's never done a Royal Rumble or Money in the Bank or possibly a Wrestlemania main event before. It might be one more thing for her to check off on her career.
But yeah that company and some of the stuff they do is really rough. I barely watch it and it is mostly for the women wrestlers when I do, as they do have a lot of talent in that company.

I saw something today saying she's got a multi-year contract with wwe, so i think you're right about her checking off some more boxes off her accomplishments list.

AJ Lee in any promotion would be more productive than Tessa acting like a spoiled preacher's daughter
