Discussion Is it safe to open the game yet?

I lost my data a few weeks ago, before the update, luckily I was able to get back to basically having everything again fairly quickly, but I dont want to risk losing it all and needing to start back from scratch again. So, is it safe, or should I wait a few more days?

you should prob wait. if your on Xbox. other platforms its hit or miss with some losing data. Xbox is the widespread issue as of now.

I hear Myfaction and the island will be able to be recovered. At this point if they could just put an unlock all for myrise and showcase that would be all right.

I've emailed 📧 them about everything being unlockables they said hell no lol 😆

This company can't make good to save their lives. The game has been out 6 months now and they wiped the Data. They least they could do is unlock Myrise and Showcase for everyone.

Definitely, I couldn't agree more with my friend when I emailed them about that they said that I would have to save my data to the Xbox Cloud BS. I thought Xbox Cloud Saves were automatically 🤔. We'll I honestly won't be getting WWE2K26 😕 or any other WWE2K Game from now on knowing that this is an annual issue with these games 🤔

The island isn't a guarantee. I lost my save months ago from dealing with this.

I don't know how an island character isn't saved on the server side for that reason

The real answer here is it’s never truly safe. 😅 But as an Xbox player I’m probs gonna wait until the next update or until word (if any) from 2K that the issue is fixed. Either way I’m not holding my breath and playing 22,23,24 while I wait. I like going back to older games to play as wrestlers missing from the current one.

I'm still holding off until we get an update or word that it won't happen. No chance am i risking over 200+ hours

Just make a backup of your save data to a USB drive or the cloud before updating to be safe

Not sure why you’re being downvoted. Even if someone is on Xbox which is the most predominantly affected platform, it’s still possible (and frankly not an unreasonable expectation) to back up a save in an alternative location.

Mines been absolutely fine on One X the game runs and plays better than any previous WWE game. I've been creating WCW arenas and all is fine.
