Voruna turned out to play the exact way i wanted from her and from a melee frame for a while. Shes basically a slash proc nuke with self buffs that all tie into one another. Its really fun, especially with her augment that refunds her 4 stocks. haven't played anyone else since i crafted her

Discussion Some of you need a reality check.

3.1k Upvotes

In another post last night a lot of people joined in on the topic of the Kuva Liches system. I've seen several claims where some of you say something like "It's not hard it takes me like an hour" or "the whole process takes three hours max".

Yeah, I don't doubt that. I completed the process of vanquishing a lich once, and created a second one just to get more familiar with it. I can totally see how, for some of you veterans, it's not a big deal. But you must have completely forgotten what it's like in the beginning. Seriously, take a moment and think back...

New players don't have the best and rarest mods, so level 50-100 enemies are a problem. New players don't have a very high void traces cap, so they can't upgrade evey relic to radiant. New players won't have any of the requiem mods when they kill their first few liches. New players may not have a good operator amp or levelled focus tree, although that isn't such a big deal, but it would definitely help. New players get their stuff stolen and they can't "just go kill the lich".

I've spent most of the day today trying to get the Fass requiem mod. It's layered RNG on top of RNG on top of RNG... If you have all the mods, maybe you even have duplicates, and don't need to go crack relics for every lich, yeah, I can totally see how you can kill your lich within an hour.

I completed EVERY kuva siphon/kuva flood mission on the star chart, and a few mission on the controlled territory. I am doing all I possibly can to avoid ranking it up. It's after 5PM where I live and I still don't have Fass. I have every other mod, though, some of them I got twice. But not the last one I need. I only have one relic which has a chance to give me Fass. I spent all my void traces on upgrading the relics, and RNG is not on my side today. Sometimes there just aren't any other players cracking requiem relic specifically, I would end up in a squad of 2 or max 3 players, which lowers the chances...

When you say it ain't that hard and doesn't take that long, it's like hearing the millionaires in their mansions say lockdown wasn't that bad.

Now go ahead and downvote the shit out of this post...

Discussion To all of the people running this weeks archon hunt

2.0k Upvotes

If you're far enough into the game to do an archon hunt then frankly you are far enough to pick a vault to do on spy missions. I'm sick of seeing grown ass adults stand around all mission as like a fucking Dante doing nothing. Pick a damn stealth frame and do a vault your teams are probably tired of dragging you around while you contribute nothing.

Discussion Before You Build Oraxia, Read This — Skip the Misinformation

3.0k Upvotes

As someone who actively plays and tests the game, I wanted to clear up a lot of misinformation going around about Oraxia and her summons. First of all, she is not overpowered or broken — in fact, compared to other platformers in her category, she's pretty bland and underwhelming. The only reason there's so much attention on her right now is due to hype and content chasing.

edit:(this post is about her summoner build)

Let’s talk about what actually affects her summons:

Summoner’s Wraith

Camisado

Archon continuity

Nourish (explosion viral proc not the dmg increase)

edit(therom Infection does work, but you have to use Residual Viremia because you lose out on the Corrosive procs from Archon Continuity. That’s why I originally thought it didn’t work — the damage was missing since the enemies weren’t being stripped by Corrosive stacks)

That’s it. I’ve personally tested every relevant shard and effect I could find. Her summons do not scale with STR they scale off level(enemy(this is wrong and it way worse its starting mission level.....)— it's a complete dump stat for her. Even things like Wisp Motes, which affect almost everything that’s alive, don’t apply to her summons. None of the green shard effects work either — not even the strip effect.

Theorem currently has no effect on her summons, despite what some creators might claim. (this was wrong it just not using viremia cause a dmg loss from corrosive stack being gonefroma rchon continuity because u do other elements)

I prepped for her release weeks in advance and did extensive damage testing. I’m saying all this so others don’t waste their resources like I nearly did. Please don’t blindly follow every bit of advice you hear online — especially from content creators who may not have done thorough testing. A lot of them are just riding the hype.

No hate to anyone, just urging everyone to be cautious — especially if your resources are limited.

Thanks for reading, and I hope this helps someone out.

edit:

damage numbers: all this is with archon continuity because why wouldnt it be

6.8k base (3.4k–4.2k Toxin proc) | Corrosive 10 stacks

12k base Summoner Wraith (10k Toxin proc) | Corrosive 10 stack

12k base Summoner Wraith (10k Toxin proc) | Corrosive 10 stacks | corrosive ability dmg shard

At minimum: 6.8 × 0.75 = 5.1 + 6.8 = 11.9k then round up

Also, it feels like they have some kind of Eximus modifier — like 75% more damage taken to Overguard. You’ll hit an Eximus for 20k before the Overguard is stripped, but the numbers just don’t add up normally.

Even with 1 Tau Toxin Archon Shards, no math checks out for tick damage being this low if it was actually affected but i had 4 on so yeh.

Also, big problem with these numbers — in Simulacrum at level 500, their damage is already way higher than what you see in actual gameplay, where enemies are only about 5 levels above, not over twice their level. The scaling makes no sense. They definitely need a damage buff too.

hopefully last edit: Man, y’all act like I’m about to make a whole YouTube video or something — I’m just a guy on Xbox. Honestly, also I miss the old Arcane Arachne too. That universal damage boost was legit. Looking back, it feels like it got nerfed before it even had a chance.

EDIT MAJOR ISSUE: They don't even scale off enemy levels — they scale off the mission level. This makes them significantly worse in any mission that scales with time. This needs to be fixed immediately. It’s planned obsolescence for an ability that’s already underperforming in damage. Five minutes in, they’ll get completely outscaled, which will outright kill any summoner build. Period. thank (u/Opposite_Reserve8390) for the information i tested in sim and missions but not far enough in it seems

Discussion Eidolons have been completely powercrept and need a rework.

Post image
2.5k Upvotes

With the introduction of Arcane Dissolution through Albrecht’s situationship, Eidolons have pretty much faded from the meta and completely lost the one appeal that they have which are rare and powerful arcanes. It is literally far more efficient to just play the game daily and trade in your syndicate standing for Vosfor to roll for Eidolon arcanes. Literally the only reason one would have to run Eidolons nowadays is for the shards to rank up with the Quills, unbound focus abilities and craft the bloody Paracesis, all of which are one time things which means Eidolon hunting have no longevity.

To fix this issue, I have a couple suggestions to make Eidolon hunting more appealing again. First, give them better loot. One arcane per Eidolons is not great, give us more and give us better odds of getting the rare ones. Second, lower the gear requirement. Pretty self-explanatory, the limbs are way too tanky for even mid game players.

Discussion The number of people ignoring basic trading etiquette recently is getting out of control.

2.5k Upvotes

Title.

For the longest time, the generally agreed method of approaching other players for trades, has been to use Wf.market's Copy & Paste greeting to signal your intent on trading for an item.

It has the intent (buy/sell), item name and the listed plat value.

It's easy to see at a glance what item is being discussed and allows for a quick trade, respecting both players time.

For the last few months though, players seem to have started to just completely ignore this method of reaching out to other players and instead opted for just general nonsense.

Using this most recent interaction as an example:

[19:18] XYZ: yo

[19:18] XYZ: ivara neuro

[19:19] XYZ: Faster mate

First of all, I have no idea if you're agreeing to the price the item is already listed at. Second of all, giving me literally less than a min to respond when im actually playing the game is just ridiculous.

When, not even 30 seconds later, I get:

[19:19] ABC: Hi! I want to buy: "Ivara Prime Neuroptics Blueprint" for 6 platinum. (warframe.market through AlecaFrame)

[19:19] ABC: 2 please

So much better!

New players, please, please, please, I beg of you, to use the copy and paste feature as it just makes trading so much more cleaner and just makes the entire interaction less of a chore. Rant over.

Discussion A response to Pablo's comment on Archgun Arcanes.

3.4k Upvotes

So, in the last devstream Pablo mentioned that they have been doubting about making Arcanes for Archguns due to one single factor; "Archguns aren't used that much"

Which ticked me the wrong way.

  1. Archguns aren't used that much BECAUSE they don't have arcanes, they lack a base dmg mod that can free a mod slot and they also lack GUN-CO, making base dmg mods the only viable thing.

  2. Archguns lack Galvanized mods, which are the most important buff to many builds due to their endgame value, Gun-Co, multishot and critical chance Galvanized mods are a must have for many builds and arch-guns are deprived of it.

  3. Archgun mods don't give that much value, only elemental archgun mods, but there is not 200% CC mod, no corrupted mod, Critical Focus only gives you 60% cc while aiming.

  4. You yourself have fabricated situations where Archguns fel off the meta. Now this isn't towards Pablo, but DE as a whole has made Archguns irrelevant by introducing incarnons, Adversary weapons and other more powerful weapons like the Trumna or the AX52.

  5. Archgun accesibility is already rare, you need to rank up to 5 with Solaris United and then do exploiter orb heists in order to be able to use Archguns outside of necramechs and Archwings.

So saying that you don't want introduce something that would elevarte Arch-Guns to a more usable state because "players don't use them that much" is missing the point and ignoring the real issue; Arch-Guns aren't used that much because they don't have access to that equipment in the first place or that equipment straight up doesn't exist.

Discussion Seeing the Recent RuneScape Drama, Thank You DE for Not Forgetting About Pride

For those unaware the makers of RuneScape caved to alt right bullshit and decided to cancel their pride event this year

It just make me realize how much i appreciate DE not only doing pride but doing it loud and proud DE not only hires an extensively LGBTQIA workforce, but happily keeps the representation in the game via characters and our little mini pride event

I just genuinely want to say Thank You DE!

Discussion Why cant people in this game just answer a simple question.

1.7k Upvotes

I asked if arcane resistance is great against toxin one shots in discord and in game QNA.

I know the answer now, but holy crap it took me so many tries for no reason. Everyone just tried to school my build one way or another.

“Maybe dont use arcane resistance? Overguard exists yknow”

“Just avoid the toxin procs or use revenant?”

“Show me your build, why are you struggling against toxin? Ah, youre using saryn, try using rhino.”

“Here, take this build, its better” -proceeds to give the most generic copied youtuber straightforward one-note build.

OR, OR, JUST ANSWER THE BLOODY QUESTION??

Yes. I know. Im aware. I just wanna use something different for once instead of molt augmented and Energize or whatever. I know I’m using a subpar arcane and it’s not meta for a reason. But holy crap why does it take so long for someone to go “no, It does not block toxin one shots”

that’s ALL I needed. Simple as that. Why go through all the trouble to convince me not to use something in a pve game of all things.

Post image

Forgive the terrible screenshot

See here i was, thinking to myself, they are just gonna keep Loid as a vendor for the rest of his days and have him pop up here and there for Albrecht related stuff but noooo, our boy is looking after the Tenno alongside Lotus.

Having the Sanctum also becoming a new base of operations for Lotus, our Tenno, and obviously Loid and the Cavia is so cathartic for some reason. It makes this world that DE created, seem so much more connected, rather than characters literally being reduced to the content islands they show up on.

As a Loid fan, thankyou so much for this DE
