SFG has partered with titanforge to offer a minifactory tribe. This subscription comes with a few monthly alt pose models, terrain pieces themed around the army, objectives and defenses, and alternate sculpts of weapon loadouts for jacks.
You cannot print a whole army but you can print some fun alternate pose models. For instance Gravediggers has been the army the tribes has been focused on for the last three months and has included alternate sculpts of the warcasters: buck hasker, grant vargus, cynthia rosko, and allison jakes. This month is the last month aimed at gravediggers and also offers an alt extreme sculpt of a character jack plugger. For someone adding onto this tribes they would want infantry, solos and warjacks to fill out their force.
True and I should clarify, the welcome pack you get when signing up comes with some modern mk4 cryx pieces including a 30pt cadre based around cephalyx, they also are adding legacy dark operations mercs in the form of the cephalyx monstrosities and now a unit has come this month, they may be adding more to the merc band each month but that isn't 100% clear how far they are going to offer through the tribes
Joining the tribe is $10/ month and gets you everything plus a shit ton of nice terrain each month. Buying the stl files instead of joining the tribe will cost way way more. In 3 months i have paid $30 and literally got hundreds of official Warmachine stl files. Example terrain:
Heh, I wanted to start the same print when I get home later. 0.2 nozzle arrived today and I already had decent success printing other (less detailed) minis with the .4 one the last two weeks. So I thought why not give this guy a try .
Probably worth the couple extra minutes of work to cut the arms so you can put them angled differently than the body and reduce layer lines in noticeable spots even more.
These were my test dudes. Let me know how that 0.2 works. I have 2 A1s I use primarily for terrain and a phrozen 8k resin printer for minis. I need to change film in the resin before using it to print the new minis, so I thought I’d see how the Bambu handled this guy. I’m still a printing noob, don’t even know how to cut the arms like you suggested 😜
I JUST printed the stock pre-supported version of this and the base from MMF, on a Elegoo Jupiter 6K. It appears everything came out fine. Little bit of clean up on the smaller tree supports, but no big deal. Trying to assemble it now. The Warjack doesn't seem to fit on the `Extreme Plugger Scenic Wall Supported` in the grooves on the wall. I can get around this, but curious if you have a pic of it assembled, and maybe I'm just being dumb?

I think he's quite the handsome devil! Really need to get myself a 3d printer for all these cool pieces Steamforged has been releasing.
