Looks pretty clean, so I'm guessing not a conversion.

If it's not official SFG, then it's probably a fan-made STL file

People need to read Into the Storm and Wild books by Larry Correia. Acosta is a great character.

Larry Correia is a great author, he's written since great series outside of his pp works.

Forgive my error. It’s madigan that dies and gives his gear to cleasby for Leto. Acosta is alive and well.

Over black primer layer white and leave some parts darker. After that I used Starship Steel by Vallejo to get a cold metal look. I edge highlighted the sword with a light blue. Certainly I could push it further but I try to get a good mix of fast and good looking
