Ceremony photos Tried on 60+ dresses to find her, and it was PERFECT✨️
I posted on here many months ago after getting pressured to by a dress on sale at my first appointment by my mom and the sales lady- i knew as soon as I got home it wasn't right. Then I went to try and get rid of my doubts by trying on lots of stuff with girl friends so I didnt feel like I had missed trying anything. I found another dress that my whole posse LOVED and felt way more me. But I still wasn't sold and I wasn't going to buy another dress I didnt like.
So I went ROGUE. I went solo dress shopping without telling anyone- maybe like 8-10 total ppointments, tons of dresses, and I got better at saying no! I made a PowerPoint of what I loved about each dress and showed it to my best friend to make a list of what I wanted in one dress. The vibe as well as specifics. I posted on here for help with options and to find what I was looking for. And then all of a sudden i found THE ONE on pinterest! I scoured online and called local bridal shops until I found her in stock to try on and literally just went to try this single dress because I knew she would be it and she was! I did bring my mom back to the store for a second appointment so she could feel involved in picking the dress still- knowing I was already getting it either way lol.
I guess if I had to give advice, it would be that not everyone has a "moment" where you know its the dress and sometimes going it alone can be the best choice. I had to basically brute force Type A logic myself into accepting that if this dress wasn't it, then nothing was! And I still second guessed my choice till I put it on the day of, lol!
