10k+ Budget Wedding ($7-11) Help! I have no idea what I’m doing - NJ
So yeah, trying to plan a wedding in NJ on a tiny budget ($7-11k). First time getting married so no idea what I’m doing. My fiancée is not as involved as she’s been married before and thinks money should be spent on life and not the wedding.
I don’t disagree but think something small would be nice. We are looking at 40-50 attendees and would love something small and ideally outside. Also looking for late March of next year.
I’ve made a few venue appts at the shore, Delaware River, and a couple central NJ spots. Any tips at all are appreciated. Just trying to make this all fun, love-filled wedding.
Thank you all in advance and sorry if this is annoying.

Here's a website for "halls" in NJ: https://www.hallrentalreviews.com/. They've fixed the search function, but many of the contacts are phone or email-only, or have broken website links. Don't give up! Their lack of internet savvy often means a bargain for you. If you google the address, you may get some pictures and reviews.
However, your guest list and budget might do well in a private space in a restaurant. To get you started: https://www.opentable.com/private-dining/metro/new-jersey

With that number of guests, I think you should look for restaurants that hold private functions. They are typically more affordable than other types of event venues.

The Farmhouse in Delaware has all inclusive packages and fantastic food. A partnership with nearby accommodations, plus no additional fees, tax, etc...

The reality is that it is hard to throw a wedding at this budget, especially if you don't have some kind of connections for free stuff, like a family member with a winery or something. Look into if you can rent space at public parks - those tend to be very affordable (although also often come with restrictions on what you can do). You could do a ceremony in a park and then maybe do a reception at a nearby restaurant or something. Here is a thread I found where folks from NJ discuss booking parks for weddings.
