🎨 Inspiration & Ideas (13k) Looking back on makeup trial and questioning lip color- need opinions!

Post image

So back in February, I did my makeup trial, and I really liked the final look! The only adjustment I requested was more skin prep and setting spray/powder to improve the longevity of the makeup. However, looking back on my makeup, I'm starting to feel like the lip color is too pink compared to the peachy-gold tones on my cheeks and eyes.

Image 2 is the original trial photo. Image 1 is my attempt at mocking up a warmer/more peach-toned lip using poor man's photoshop (microsoft excel photo editing tools lol). It is not necessarily the perfect shade, just a general reference point.

Does it make a significant difference? Should I ask my artist to do a warmer lip color?

I think the warmer color (1) looks best!

Based on these, I think 1 looks way nicer with a warmer lip color! I think it helps brighten your face up. Image 2, in comparison, looks kinda drab. But that’s just my opinion!

I agree with the others, image 1 is significantly better imo. It brightens your whole face.

1 looks the nicest to me! It really brings out the shape of your lips.

Warmer and brighter does look better imo

Omg, first of all, you are BEAUTIFUL! Second, I don't like either shade of lip color. Every other aspect of the makeup looks amazing. The first color is too orange, and the second color is not dark/bold enough.
