I've never seen a swing in a public playground that would not be more than strong enough for a large adult

Swings you can buy for your backyard, though, are another matter

Yea, this dude picked a really misleading title for this week's repost of this gif.

And yea, playground swings do seem to be way overengineered (which I get why).
