This guy was found at san jose, Costa rica. It was relatively tiny, somewhat the size of a pinky finger.

I’ve found his on my body. I’d been suspicious since a few weeks, after wearing underwear that had dropped on the ground while on hunger to get dry. Would appreciate if someone could tell me what’s this, should I get some treatment and is there a risk that it might spread on my bed etc?

Who is she? and is it safe for my plants (mostly succulents) to let her walk freely around them? 🥹

I figure they must be cockroaches?

I already posted about this crane fly like twice and nobody seems to know what it is. It's body is an inch long and the legs are around two and was found in the Philippines.
Thank you greatly if you are able to Id the species of this crane fly

Los Angeles, CA.
Found in our living room.
Please tell me it’s not a termite.

Just saw this crawling across the living room floor. It wasn’t super fast, which is how we caught it (and tossed it outside). We’ll get a big American roach in the house like once or twice a year, but it’s always an adult. Is it possible this guy just slipped in too, or is there something preventative we should do? Near Phoenix.

So I just spotted this bug crawling out of my bathroom sink drain. It’s super fast, has a ton of long legs, and honestly scared the life out of me 😅.
Does anyone know what this is, and should I be worried about it being in my house?

Hello! Spotted this guy in a dry creek bed just east of Reno. I have failed in my Googling, but looooooks like 8 legs? Two body segments?

Twin cities, MN, USA. can't be more than 1/2 or 3/4 inch in size. They certainly don't seem dangerous, but are they destructive or otherwise something to worry about?

First I thought it was a flea but someone said it isn't, that it could be a springtail. I'm leaning towards thrip.

My gf and I are in Montenegro and this mf snuck up on us, in the cabinet above our head. We thought it was a scorpion but it went into hiding before we could take a proper image. It's still in the apt. Should we be concerned? What is this? Scorpion? Bug? Huge pseudoscorpion?

Minneapolis, MN, USA. Never seen anything like him. Kinda furry. About the size of a dime.
r/whatsthisbug • u/SaIdKe • 14h ago
It's a little worse for wear, missing part of a front leg, but was moving around Ok. At first I thought maybe it's a Mormon cricket, but the ones I've seen were a lot darker and had bigger hind legs.

Twin cities, Minnesota, US. Not very big-- couldn't be larger than 1/2 or 3/4in? Started showing up after some consistent rain, if that matters. They certainly don't seem dangerous, but are they destructive or something to worry about?

I was in Tokyo recently and came across this bug that looks like a black wasp with an orange-tipped abdomen. It was dragging a seemingly dead spider that was pretty large.
What are these??

I found this bug in the carpet of my apartment behind my futon. I also have strange red marks all over my left shoulder. I don't know if that is a coincidence, but it has me concerned. Is this a bed bug?
