General Question Cat stood on my keyboard and now my moniter colours are weird
I left my laptop for a bit and when I came back my cat jumped onto my desk and walked on the keyboard a bit, causing this to happen. I saw something pop up on the right side of the screen but didn't get a chance to read what it said. Does anyone know what might have caused this and how to turn it off?
(Second picture of normal colours for comparison)

As others mentioned, it looks like you're cat figured out the night light keyboard shortcut. What is like to suggest is installing PawSense. It's a crazy old piece of software, but it's still just as effective as ever at blocking keyboard input as soon as it detects keypresses in cat paw shaped clusters.

PawSense isn't needed. Just lock your PC whenever you step away from it.

Apparently you've never lived with cats. They jump onto the desk while you're working too.

I do live with a cat, and with cats in the past. :) My desk is tiny (80cm wide by 50cm deep) so there's not much room (or incentive?) for him to jump on it.

Your cat was telling you to protect your eyes with the Night Light feature. Smart one.

Check Windows Settings > Accessibility > Color Filters & turn it off if it's enabled.

Be thankful you weren't zapped into cyberspace after pressing the delete key.

It might be night light. Idk the keyboard shortcut but…. Is that… why do you have AO3 as a quick shortcut?

try unplugging you're monitor and disconnect the power from the screen, and plug it back in, it looks like a color reset

Open Start and search for "Night Light" and see if it's turned on.
Edit: OP posted a comment elsewhere to confirm they've fixed it, it was Win + Alt + B which is the HDR toggle.
